Chessman102

An amazing game that has been somewhat ruined by EA Attempting to request or possibly require a separate EA login on a nintendo console is quite awful, and ill advised. Original game is still there and very fun, the additions by EA in the remaster are nothing to write home about.

Amazing game, first hour feels like just another Zelda clone, and not anything too special, but after one hour it really picks up and has amazing gameplay, great battle mechanics, and the puzzles and dungeon design is spectacular. Pixel art is superb. I have a few nitpicks. After beating the game I still hadn't found a couple of items, a mana piece, 2 pieces of ore, and one journal entry, there is no indication on the map of where to even start looking. The devolper should make an updated version that shows how many heart pieces, ore, mana pieces, journal, and sewing kits are in each section (map is split into 8 sections), as well as how many you have already collected. That way you can at least narrow your search down when you are attempting to 100% the game at the end. If an improved legend for the map is added in a future update I may consider changing my review to a 10, I am a **** for old school zelda, nes, snes type games though. If you like the original Zelda on nes, or Zelda link to the past on snes you will likely enjoy this game as well.

Great collection of games destroyed by cloud gaming. The server slowdowns, the occasional lag, and the multiple glitches make the games close to unplayable. I did eventually beat 1, and 2 on the collection but it was after many frustrating experiences, and some days I had to accept the games were unplayable due to server issues. I do not understand why square enix doesnt offer a download option for those who have room on their SD cards. Hopefully if this is ported to switch 2 it will not be on cloud servers

If you like metroidvanias, and 8 bit nes style games than this is the game for you. Music is also great. great hidden gem
