Starfield: Shattered Space8
Mar 23, 2026
I really rate this DLC. I think some people were hoping for some core gameplay changes or updates, but as a fan of Starfield as is, I found this a welcome addition. It gives a new system to explore, with a new main quest and loads of additional side quests. What's more is that there are so many more, and worthwhile points of interests outside the walls of Dazra.
There is new gear, weapons and enemies, on a very interesting and distinct planet from much of the rest of the game. The main quest was really interesting and got better as you progressed, to the finale which was both chaotic and really fun. Alot of decisions you make along the way really matter too. Definitely worth dropping back into Starfield again for this!

I really enjoyed Starfield, I get people's criticisms, it's not Bethesda's best RPG, but if you are used to their games and enjoy them, it's definitely worth a play through!

I really enjoyed Starfield, maybe not my favourite Bethesda RPG, but still a solid game. I gave it an 8 based on how much I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't disagree with a 7 or 6 score.
I thought the story line was very good for a Bethesda game, I usually play them for the side quests. I like the exploration, and the combat is pretty good for this type of game. The ship building is decent, I spent alot of hours building and customising.
I get the criticisms people have about this game, I think if you enjoy Bethesda's other RPGs like Elderscrolls and Fallout you will know what to expect and most likely enjoy it!

Alan Wake II9
Mar 18, 2026
I loved Alan Wake back on the Xbox 360, so pleased for a sequel, and it doesn't disappoint. Packed full of Remedy's unique story telling, amazing visuals and sound. I don't normally like games split across 2 or more characters, but I really enjoyed the chapters playing as Saga. Sometimes, some of the Alan Wake chapters did alot of back tracking and/or revisiting the same areas (which I know has alot to do with the story) which start to get a bit tedious, but well worth it to see the story through, which is incredible.

I really liked this game, it didn't blow me away but it was a solid 3rd person action shooter with a few unique elements. The story for me was the best part with additional story telling through live action segments. Shame there isn't a sequel.

Really unique game with an interesting story line and fun combat mechanics. The graphics and destructible environments are excellent, you can launch pretty much any part of the environment at your enemies.
Like alot of Remedy games the story can be a little hard to follow. I found myself getting abit lost at times as it all takes place in the oldest house so environments don't change much and the enemy variety could be better. Otherwise it's another very unique and fun game from Remedy!

Resident Evil 29

This is one of, if not the best remake of any game ever. I didn't think it was worth doing or that it would work, but it does. They have really respected the source material while creating an entirely new, and exceptional experience. Really well done and loads of replay ability.

The original RE3: Nemesis has always been my favourite RE game, and it still is. This remake unfortunately is not on par with the RE2 remake. It's still a great game, there's just alot missing from the original, and Nemesis just isn't as intimidating as the original. Definitely worth a play through if you are a fan of the series.

I loved the original RE4 and really didn't think it needed a remake, however RE4 remake is exceptional. I still don't think it really needed the remake treatment, but I'm glad they did, amazing!

I loved RE7, so am very pleased to see more of the same. It's abit more of a departure from the series usual stuff, even more so than RE7, but still a great entry in the series with lots of memorable characters.

Resident Evil 7: biohazard9

Visually stunning return to genuine survival horror.
What a pleasant surprise this game is after the disappointing RE6. As a fan of the originals (1,2,3: Nemesis) this feels like a proper return to the tone of the original games. I love the first person perspective, as fixed cameras and tank controls don't really work in modern games, this perspective brings back the tense claustrophobic atmosphere without using old clunky controls.
I love how the game just constantly makes you feel like you are just surviving, and as soon as you think your safe, something new and terrifying is just around the corner.

Resident Evil Requiem9

Pleasantly surprised at how good this game is. I'm never a fan when they split the game between two main characters, but they've nailed it. I'm a huge fan of RE7 (I was hoping RE9 was going to continue the style of RE7 and 8 to be honest) but the Grace sections really keep that tense, survival horror tone, while the Leon sections feel like like a refinement of RE4, which is a good change of pace. The two characters play styles are such a contrast, which is why I think it works, it stops the game from ever over staying its welcome.
The game is visually stunning and the music is excellent, as is always the case with RE games.
As a fan since the original in '96, I'm really pleased to get yet another great Resident Evil game, looking forward to the next remake/RE10!

This game has some of the best first person melee combat I've played. The daul wielding, switchable loadouts makes combat flow, switching between melee, ranged and magic attacks with ease. The combat can also be quite challenging.
The best part about Avowed is exploring, you are constantly looking up for a way to climb, or swimming to the bottom of a lake to find a way to access a hidden area, which will reward you with useful loot. In its own stylized way it's quite stunning, and full of charm.
Avowed isnt as deep as alot of other RPGs, but it absolutely nails the important stuff. I would highly reccomend!
