Battlefield 27
Dec 13, 2011
Despite it's unsmooth movement, ridiculous hitboxes, and constant vehicle camping, it's still surprisingly fun to play. It's not competitive, it's not particularly balanced, but it delivers a fun experience. Will still be playing this over BF3.

Battlefield 35

Gameplay is severely lacking. Instead of the feeling of huge maps in battlefield 2, it's as if they've tried to combine BF2 with CoD, which has just failed quite spectacularly. Battlefield isn't suppose to give fast-paced action, it's suppose to give the feeling of a large battlefield, where you spend time trying to get to that perfect spot. Where you hide from the tank/helicopter going past you. Where you can snipe somebody from far away. This game gives absolutely nothing of this. Then there are all the balance and spawnkilling issues, but it would take too long to get into them. Now, this game would still be worthy **** rating if you weren't forced into having to deal with glitches constantly. First there's the obvious one, the horrible game launcher forcing you to reload and unload the entire game every time you want to switch servers. Which incidentally also forces you to be in a game while setting your settings. Then there's the weird movement, they've tried making the game more smooth by adding animations and the sort for jumping over things. The problem is they've failed miserably, and it's not smooth at all. Then there are all the problems with EA, I've found ea support to be not only slow and unhelpful, but that they'll also directly lie to you about billing (yes, I've been billed twice on my single copy of BF3, and despite contacting support about this for the first time BEFORE the game was released, I have yet to receive any sort of refund at all) Of course this doesn't say anything about the actual game, it just shows that EA doesn't care about it's customers.

League of Legends3

League of Legends, as all other DotA games, fails miserably in balance. If you enjoy real competitive pvp, you will hate this game. If you enjoy mindlessly killing people, you might like this but would in the end be better off buying a singleplayer game.

First I'd like to respond to people claiming I haven't played the game. I have (and continue) to spend 4+ hours a day in this game, and I've hosted a semi-popular for nearly 8 months now. Now, minecraft is a revolutionary and fun game, and you will be amazed at how long you can keep on playing something as simple as this. If you get bored, you find a server with a different set of rules and plugins, and you get a completely new game in doing so. Minecraft has such great potential in so many ways, it's possible to make MMORPG-like servers, competetitive pvp servers, and everything in between. The problem is, that mojang has decided to spend most of their time on other projects, and adding new features to minecraft. Why is this bad? Because they've released a non-working incredibly glitchy game, and yet they've decided to spend time on either making completely unrelated games, or making it more glitchy by adding more features. Anybody who wants mojang to add more features is downright stupid, mojang will never be able to satisfy every persons need, it's an impossible task. The fact that so many kids want them to take on the task (and more incredibly that they have taken on the task) is just unbelievable considering the owner is supposedly a member of mensa. Mojang have supplied us with the base, let the modders take over from here. The only feature they need to add now is some sort of clientside mod API, like spoutcraft but without the need for each player to install it. After this, fix bugs, make the game run as smooth as possible, but do not add anymore features. FIXING BUGS > ADDING USELESS FEATURES

Guild Wars4

It was a great game. Sadly one day arenanet decided to go "hey, let's completely destroy all PvP in the game, and then make the PvE grind the primary interest of the game" Now PvP is filled with unskilled noobs that think grind = skill (I just recently watched a couple of obs, not a single person in any of them knew how to qstep) You are forced to either use builds fully automated bots can play better than you, or end up being significantly weaker then your enemy. Arenanet entirely fails at balancing the game, only if a skill is so unbalanced it literally gives permanent immortality (Shadow Form) is it even fixed, and that's after A WHOLE YEAR of people abusing it. I don't think I need to say much about PvE, it's fun the first time you complete it, but after that it's just pure grind. It was a great game 5 years ago, and probably would have been now if PvP wasn't destroyed. I've spent a lot of fun hours in this game, RIP original Guild Wars

Medal of Honor2

The game is severely unbalanced, I don't know what they were thinking. Shotguns can kill people across the map, rifles are better for sniping than the sniper rifles. Maps are some of the worst I've seen in a while. All the good players left the day after it was released, so all the players left are complete ****ters that just camp all the time and spam airstrikes, not even fun to kill them because it isn't a challenge.

It's a fun and nice little addon. It's far from as good as the regular BC2, but still alright. It lacks any real choice of weapons, and the maps are really good, except they have a lot of choke points.

+3 for decent gameplay. +5 for originality. -8 for using punkbuster, which would only let me play multiplayer the first couple of months, with neither EA nor evenbalance (lol @ name) being able to fix. -10 for having ingame ads. After having to spend money on a game, and then be refused access to play it, how the **** can EA think it's acceptable to put ads in the game, let alone put ****ing spyware in my game?! I want my money back EA.

IMO 2. best FPS of 2010 after BC2. I haven't had a single problem with performance, even though I think **** is one of the worst providers of all time. Camping is absolutely no problem in this game, the only people who even remotely suceed at camping are people with ghost, and even then just getting blackbird will solve that problem. I really love seeing all those goddamn campers with >0.50 score. The game is overall fairly balanced, there are a couple of the weapons that **** hard, but the rest are more or less equally strong, with the exception of the knife of course. Noobtube is no problem, flak jackets does a great job of making noobtube entirely useless, which I think is pretty nice :)

It's a decent game, it's not very original, but it does a good job being a standard MMO. Ganking is a pretty big problem, because between levels 20 and 50 you can't really do anything against it. Personally it felt like I was just playing on autopilot the entire way, wasn't until I got to my 40s and could start doing semi-serious PvP it got any fun. It still takes too long to find parties in my opinion, unless you have at least a couple of hours of constant playtime you can't really do anything but solo grind. tl;dr PvEs very grindy, PvPs fun but requires a **** of PvE grinding.

The game can be very entertaining, especially when playing with friends. If you like just spraying zombies down it can keep you entertained for a long time, but for me it simply lacked the competitive touch. Even versus games just seem more like PvE than PvP. If there wasn't any prequel to it, I would have given it a 8. But what really pissed me off is that valve makes us pay for an other game, which hasn't really changed that much. All the new content in L4D2 should have just been released in a content update, now that I own both I would naturally prefer playing L4D2. But if I had known there wouldn't be more to it, I wouldn't have bothered getting it

Sniper: Ghost Warrior4

The game is too unrealistic. Grenades shouldn't exist, pistols should be much weaker. Maps should be much bigger, with a lot more places to hide and better concealment, generally they should have just spent more than 1 day on their maps. Then the compass simply shouldn't exist.

Frontlines: Fuel of War4

The singleplayer is extremely dull. Multiplayer is unbalanced, drones everywhere. I don't know if I just fail at adapting to the system in this game or what, but it feels like the weapons behave very weirdly, so I found it hard to aim. Maps seem very random, like they were put together in a rush. The concept is nice, and the intro video really had me excited, if only there were a open world game like that, with proper gameplay.

A fun, but short game. The campaign is alright, and can be completed twice. Time trial is just some worthless crap which makes you spend 3 hours perfecting a 50 second run. The custom maps are fun, but there are far from enough of them. In the end you'll get ~10 hours of fun from this game, don't expect anymore.

The game is truly great. And the only negative thing about it, is the lack of multiplayer. But that is still enough to make it go from a 10 to a 6 in my opinion. It will only give you so many hours of gameplay, versus multiplayer games which give you thousands of hours.

Guild Wars Nightfall0

This game has single-handedly killed the guild wars franchise. Before this, PvP was balanced, interesting, and a lot of skilled people played it. Now, PvP is just a bunch of PvE noobs spamming 1-2-3 on their keyboard. Unless repeatedly pressing 1-2-3 on your keyboard is a challenge for you, don't buy this game for its PvP. The only thing left to do in this game is grind PvE, but if your intellect is so low you actually enjoy that, there are far better alternatives.
