The game is absolutely gorgeous, and I've had alot of fun playing it. However the game's core fighting mechanic suffers from terrible lock on issues, where your character will often face the wrong direction whilst using charged stance 'triangle' attacks. This even happens during the boss battles where they are the only enemy on the screen! Couple this with objects obscuring the camera at every opportunity, from blades of grass, to tree stumps, walls, buildings... You name it, it will constantly try to annoy the *** out of you as it causes undeserved death's. When I started this game I was thinking 9/10 but by the end, it has ruined the experience for me. Lesser games would have been crusified for this issue alone.

Raw, Harsh & brutally business-like in the Onboard camera mode with the assists all turned off. If you can live with the fact this game only really lives for its Tourist trophy mode, and your desire to set ever faster times, you will love it. The rest of the game for me, I could happily pass on. There are some strange handling issues, with liftoff oversteer whilst dealing with corners.. however if you shift the rider around as intended (pull back on the left thumb stick whilst braking) many of the handling issues become nothing more than a small sidenote for me. The bikes will wheelie, move around & generally try kicking your arse over the correctly bumpy TT surface if you don't keep them in check. It's addictive! Very very addictive! Worth a try, if you don't mind steep learning curves & all assists off
