I was truly surprised by how good this game is, albeit, I was expecting a much lesser game. The game is beautiful and the gameplay is a welcomed change from other games in the Souls series. The only issue that I have is the framerate, but it seems that From is working on an update to help this.

Much like God of War 2 for the PS2, The Last of Us is the 'Swan Song' of the PS3. Given none of the game has been revealed, The Last of Us will evoke in most a sense of curiosity, fear, and despair, and this is a good thing. This is an experience like no other, one of which most gamers should experience.

Although expectations for this game were high, I believe that it pulled through in every way possible. Time and time again throughout my play through of the campaign of this game my breath was taken away by the beauty of this game. I couldn't even begin to think of how many of the technical aspects of the game were worked out, and you can truly see the love Naughty Dog put into this game. I'm sad to see the people who have shunned this game based on small, perhaps trivial things. I find that there have been many diluted opinions formed about this game.

This game is what sold me on purchasing the Playstation Move and I was not disappointed at all. The game is incredibly ambitious and the controls are accurate and intuitive. I hope this game becomes successful so that more developers can follow what The Fight has done.
