I've rewatched the series from the beginning and really enjoyed it the second time **** you're curious about this show give it time to grow on you without comparing it to anything else. You can tell everyone involved is dedicated to telling an epic story.

Absolutely fantastic season that has a lot more action than previously. Incredible performances from all main actors, great story telling. Great soundtrack. Finale was excellent. Well done all, people are sleeping on this.

I don't know if I'm becoming jaded or if something truly has gone horribly wrong in our culture. Who is responsible for churning out mediocre media? It all started going wrong when people started thinking of it as 'content' instead of art. If you're watching this and haven't seen the original series, trust me when I say watch the series original Nickelodeon show first. The original animated series is a beautiful story and a true work of art. It's suitable for children, teens and adults alike. Don't bother with this.

Watching the live action series on Netflix shows just how sold this series is. Watched it in English originally and was really impressed by the quality of the voice acting. You can tell everyone cared about this series

Stopped watching the first episode due to confused editing, poor pacing. Anachronistic dialogue.

A well put together crime drama. Nothing too edge-of-your-seat but great characters and performances.

Another brilliant, A+ show from Netflix. You can tell it was made with love. Likeable characters, great actors and some genuinely frightening scenes, all wrapped up in 80's nostalgia.

I really wanted to love this show but the pacing absolutely kills it. I'm a huge fan of the Preacher graphic novels and I had high hopes. But I was disappointed. I don't always mind when an adaptation strays from the source — some things that work in a book or graphic novel simply don't translate well to the screen. But the graphic novel storyline was perfect for TV. The main problems I have with this show are down to poor pacing and a serious lack of direction. People are fannying about aimlessly and the scenes absolutely drag. Had Rogan been more faithful to the source, and perhaps gotten some help from more experienced directors, this could have been something really special.
