the definition of a creative vision realized to its full potential, you truly feel like you are playing a 1930s cartoon from start to finish, everything fits together, nothing feels off, an indie masterpiece.

Fun game, especially when playing coop, for better or worse, they've played it safe. I'd have liked to have seen more creativity from the devs in the level design and trap interactions. Endless mode is way too simplistic.

My favorite game of the franchise ported to PC with some improvements to visuals and gameplay options, to some this may not be enough, for me it is.

PROS: - Good music - Skill tree has good depth, not complex, not too simple - Intuitive UI - Easy to learn CONS: - Too short for its price, with just a few hours you can finish the game and see everything it has to offer - Later stages are unfair, enemies start to break your formation and once you start losing warriors there's no comeback, you will have to use squishy lv 1 warriors against increasingly stronger enemies and inevitably lose more and more warriors until you fail - There's no meta progression system, only unlockable upgrades that are added to the RNG pool, for me this progression system is unsastisfying, it just makes every new run feel the same and more tricky to apply a specific strategy - The team combos have a nice initial effect, but are neither rewarding nor satisfying to evolve in the long run. Each level just increases the level of the effect, which in practice is not felt the difference, and on top of that the progression to maximize such team combo depends too much on the randomness of you getting the right mutations - The currency management is flawed, everything you buy uses the same currency which implies balance issues and contributes to the defeat snowball effect I mentioned before, when you start to lose you will end up spending everything to maintain yourself and not to upgrade your team - Lacks more team combo effects and synergies Verdict: there's a good game buried under a pile of problems that drained most of the fun, this combined with the low amount of content resulted in a mediocre auto-battler roguelite strategy game

I really wanted to like this game more, Samus in this game is more badass than ever, if you played to the end you know what I mean, and I think the direction that the story took as the end of Samus' journey was great, but the negative aspects of the experience had a huge impact during this journey, so I couldn't simply ignore them. - Too many EMMI encounters, making them stop being interesting and become just annoying. - Too many repeated miniboss fights. - The level design is the biggest villain, disturbs the flow of progression and pacing of the game, most of the time the game gives you little to no information about what direction you should take, what is not a problem, but the exaggerated disorientation on a map that is not only part of the problem, but also the catalyst for it, leads to the game's biggest flaw, unnecessary and tiring backtracking. The game's scenarios don't stand out visually, with few exceptions, everywhere is too similar visually and structurally-wise, maze-like layouts, terribly fragmented and interconnected, full of blocked passages and hidden paths, very confusing. At some point in the game, I got tired of getting lost, wondering where to find a certain upgrade, or where exactly was that room I had passed through that needed this upgrade I just got, making me consider dropping the game. Anyway, at the end of the game, after 8 hours, the stress I went through was too much that it almost overcame the fun and made me feel like I had played Metroid Dread for 30 hours.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human5

It's a mediocre game compared to the first one. Despite a few improvements to parkour, the first game is better in almost every way. The game's optimization is awful, it requires a high-end pc, but it doesn't even deliver the next-gen graphics to justify it. Forgettable.

Great platformer. I liked the atmospheric vibe of suspense/mystery of the game, as well as the well-paced gameplay sections and narrative.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury8
Mar 8, 2022
3D World is ok, but what really shines is Bowser's Fury, despite being short, its formula is surprisingly fun, for someone like me who is tired of the old formula of linear stages, one after another, its freedom and open-world-ish design makes the Mario franchise feels fresh and is a step in the right direction.

The Last of Us Part II0
Feb 7, 2022
"The problem of the last of us 2 is that there is no commitment whatsoever to the story and characters that so many people fell in love with, this is a petty revenge plot full of unlikable people and where most of the main chracters could be swapped out for any other and wouldn't make a difference. Ellie's story in the first game was so unique, only she could have had that journey, here this story is just one of what is probably thousands of revenge stories unfolding in this broken world, it feels dime a dozen and utterly inconsequential." I coultn't agree more. In the end, it just feels like the game worked too hard trying to prove to you how violent and bleak it could be, that it drowned out whatever it was trying to make you think over. A complete unnecessary sequel.
