While not nearly as challenging as other titles in this genre like TIS-100, this one is overflowing with a cynical cuteness and a clear design goal. Whether you are a programmer or not you will find it both rewarding and educational at the same time. I love the fact that they set out to make a programming puzzle game that allows for no typing whatsoever. Poetic and fun.

Very specific target audience but I love it! An original architecture to explore and create with that somehow provides a sense of accomplishment even though you are not accomplishing anything. ;) Makes me feel like I should re-direct my time toward learning REAL assembly languages and architectures instead. Having finished the main campaign I have to say my experience has been more engaging than any I can recall in recent years. It preoccupies my thoughts while showering, driving, eating, breathing.... Brutally challenging in its simplicity. Wonderfully handled in its look and feel. Will be looking forward to sequels or add-ons!

Brings back memories of Uplink but falls short a bit on audio. Music gets repetitive quickly and when you turn it off the game is eerily silent without sound to match most of the visual animations and elements. Starts out a bit too easy which breaks the fiction but pleasantly surprised with the variety of things you encounter and the fiction of things you find on servers.

Overall I am pleased with the game and happy to see the new tile sets expand on its range. I am a bit disappointed in difficulty balance however. I find it taking an inordinate amount of time and effort to resolve many battles and it ends up leaving the player feeling under powered and overwhelmed. The exploration and puzzle solving are great. Without the ability to alter the game's difficulty after already having started, however, I don't know that I will be dedicating the necessary amount of time to finish this one as the reward does not outweigh the cost.

I have never been a fan of Halo due to the cookie cutter combat experience and a general disinterest in space science fiction (other than the classics). But the AI and combat experience in Destiny is quite impressive. The ghost voice and dialogue can be sometimes atrocious and hard to bear but the core game itself feels good and plays well. Add the incentive to progress and advance with the RPG elements and you have a nice result. Its basically the opposite of Borderlands. Destiny: bad story, average items, great gameplay. Borderlands: Decent story, interesting items, bad gameplay. (Take that with the grain of salt in that I have only advanced to level 8 thus far)

Frankly I don't see how this game could be any better. When compared to any other digital card game it just puts everything else to shame. It's not Magic, it's not Call of Duty, but it is simply the best digital collectible card game you will find anywhere. Give it time to expand and it will give Magic a run for its money.

An excellent experience all around. Well polished with a clearly well laid out plan for its design and presentation. Replay value is impressive as well. For the price you just can't beat this. If you have any interest in stealth based gameplay dont miss this one. If you have a distaste for stealth based gameplay it might just not be your cup of tea.

For 20 bucks you just cant beat this game. What it lacks in production quality in terms of art, animation, story, and voice overs, it makes up for in item variety, item complexity, a sense of power, and overall action RPG fun!

I honestly don't see how this game is getting so many 10/10 ratings. Yes its got amazing depth of exploration and I am enjoying playing it. But at the same time I spend most of my time frustrated with the interface and extremely poor mechanics. You have to weather far too much poor implementation than a modern AAA quality game should provide you. Great game for its RPG content, extremely poor implementation, physics, combat mechanics, voice overs, sound, the list goes on. If you enjoy RPGs like I do it is probably worth the purchase, but its really hard to see how everyone is so blind to the problems.

Reviewing Axis and Allies the PC video game is a bit hard to put numbers to as if you are a fan of the game, this is pretty much your only option if you want to play it in computerized form. The visuals and general polish of the look and feel are exceptional. However the strength of the computer opponent artificial intelligence is abysmal. If you have played the game enough to at least understand some of the common winning successful strategies you will roll over the AI handily. It seems their main goal was simply to make it possible to play against a computer, not compelling. Still, as this is pretty much your only opportunity to play the game in its original form on a computer it does the job pretty well.
