Something doesnt match here, and I don't really understand the positive reviews. The overall cohesion of the universe is not good: it is difficult to see the logic between the different levels, the bestiary is strange and uninspired and the level designed is very far from the classics of Genesis (like the game pretented to be) Gameplay is sometime clunky and the desire to do action phases and “sonicish” phases doesnt work that well That said, OST is fine, charadesign is good and some levels have good ideas in their mechanics

The fair rating is something like 8 and 9, but I rate 10 to compensate for the unfairly bad ratings: yes the story is short and "mediocre", but the main part of the game is in its system, its endgame, its gameplay mechanics, the progression... As such, it should be seen as a "shonen" version of Monster Hunter and an incredible game in what he does for the best. Consider that those who only talk about the story didnt have understood the game.
