Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is a fast paced metroidvania. The music is phenomenal and the graphics are fluid and amazing, using a similar style to Risky's Revenge. The pirate tools are amazing, although the pistol felt underutilized. Overall, this game is pretty good.

This is a mediocre game in general. The controls are pretty stiff, and they feel archaic. The graphics aren’t all too hot either, but I can accept this as it is a WiiWare game. The level designs feel like a poor Mario Maker level, but there are some good parts. The soundtrack is decent and the upgrades are great. Overall, there are better games in the Blaster Master franchise.

Rudymical is the definition of a mixed bag. On one hand, the game has an interesting concept, but on the other, it's difficulty is awful, which kills the whole game in my own opinion. Easy is too easy, Normal is too easy, Expert is downright frustrating, and Lunatic is harder than Dark Witch 3. However, the game isn't all bad. The music is good, and the graphics are great.

A pretty good RPG all around. It's a spinoff of the Dark Witch franchise, and it has a lot of Dark Witch elements. Battles are frequent, but they don't get in your way often. The only major issue are the dungeon designs, which are worse than FF2. If the dungeons were fixed, it get a 9/10.

My thoughts were initially mixed on Dark Witch 3. It didn't feel like a sequel to one of the best games in the franchise. However, over a couple playthroughs, I learned how to appreciate it. It's a tough as nails, but perfectly fair platformer. It removes a bit of content from Dark Witch 2, which is a bit of an issue. I can understand why some fans were disappointed, but it's still awesome.

Alright, this review is going to be a bit biased, as I am a big fan of the Dark Witch series, and I apologize for that. But, in my opinion, this is the best Dark Witch game ever. Everything was fixed from Dark Witch 1. The programming is a lot better, the music is awesome, and the game is twice as long. However, it is pretty similar to the first game. It's different enough to warrant a buy, but be warned. The only issue is the difficulty. It's a bit easy, but thankfully you can choose an absolutely insane difficulty later on. I think it's a must buy for the 3DS eShop.

The Legend of Dark Witch is a pretty fun time overall. It does have some issues with the difficulty, but overall, it's a pretty fun time. It's also short, but full completion can take over 20 hours, and it's very clear the developer wanted this, as it's inspired by Touhou, a similar series that wants you to replay it. If you can accept the difficulty, it's basically perfect.
