Season 1 was very good, easily an 8/10, but this season was just awful. The show tries so hard to be smart that it has basically become a parody of itself. The plotholes are numerous and to great depth. Also, the 'unreliable narrator' motif has been abused to the point where you can no longer trust anything that happens in the show. I sat through the entire miserable season because I liked season 1 a lot and it seemed that season 2 HAD to get good at some point. Wrong. So wrong... This season is arguably worse than Season 8 of Dexter, if you can believe it. The showrunner should go back to his day job, whatever that is. I truly wish they would have just cancelled this show after season 1.
