For those concerned that any departures and rearranging mean that the show has lost its freewheeling spirit, fear not. ... After setting the table in that season premiere, the second episode has all the hallmarks of the wild “Good Fight” imagination and self-deprecation that it’s long had in its foundation. Those renewed strengths are delivered with an even greater sense of confidence, in writing and performance and presentation.

Absolutely love the continuing story of Diane Lockhart. Christine Baranski is stellar in the show, and the ensemble works so well together. You can't help but fall in love with the characters and the story line.

Season 3 is Still good in the main but beginning to suffer from a case of pompous high self esteem which comes over as far too knowing. Also, somewhat racist against whites. However, if this results in ditching the irritating character and performance of Michael Sheen then that will only be for the good of the show.

It’s not a game-changer on the level it needs to be, for me to feel comfortable saying that it’s worth the sacrifice of sandwiches for anyone who didn’t love “The Good Wife.” That said, anyone who did love “The Good Wife” won’t regret figuring out how to make this new show a part of their lives. After all, a good show is a good show. And The Good Fight shows no signs of being anything else.

The Good Wife spinoff has now become fully its own thing – even if that thing, with its welter of tones and moods, from levity to despair, and frequently experimental forms (the episode also included a cartoon song video explaining non-disclosure agreements, on top of the talking pellet wounds) – resists simple classification.

Through two episodes, The Good Fight feels appropriately like an extension on the brand and unless you discover that what you really liked about The Good Wife was the soap opera of Alicia Florrick's life, you'll find this a welcome return.

The Good Fight is off to a bright and brainy beginning, even if it seems a bit rote. We also can appreciate a show focusing on three female leads.

The series is agreeable enough, in that it captures some of the spirit of the earlier show, but it’s hard not to hope Julianna Margulies will walk through the door to bring the moral conflicts that made “The Good Wife” so good.

The Good Wife was great - even-handed (for the most part), well-written, etc. As an Australian, it is embarrassing how some Americans 'dealt with' the existential threat of someone they didn't like getting elected for four years. Absolutely pathetic and deranged TDS.
