It is 2025 now and I just spent the last 2 weeks watching this series. It was a true depiction of the police. Yes it was just a TV show but the lessons in each episode was real. I found myself engrossed in each episode and even crying in some. The police family when Ella actually died, the one on breast cancer, drugs, perverts on children, cope being killed while on duty. I advise all to watch The District. You might learn something.
