Deathwatch definitely feels dialed into its video game and book franchise source material. But it also has a lot of style on its own, and a growly lead voice acting performance from Liev Schreiber, two factors that feed its freestanding quality.

Thanks to a great turn as Fisher by Liev Schreiber and a briskly paced plot with enjoyable characters, it’s time well-spent. If it were a book, it’d be a page-turner.

While I didn't grow up with the games released before Conviction, I still think that this show is still pretty good

I don't like the design of certain characters. But otherwise, the action scenes are really great, the music is great too, and some camera shots are really good :) Otherwise, without being exceptional, the story can be followed without displeasure. We will appreciate the nods to certain events or characters in the saga.

In spite of a bumpy start and inconsistent animation, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch still proves a worthwhile enough adaptation to keep Netflix's success streak alive.

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is often a decently good-looking show, even though it and the aforementioned action scenes are spliced in with an international conspiracy story that's generic at best and hollow at worst.

More woke DEI slop put together to destroy any and all our beloved IPs. These soulless tools at these companies like Netflix, Disney and Amazon have been doing this for years. Halo, LOTRS, gears, james bong, etc etc.... Take the lead of a franchise, either completely butcher that character or replace them, or attract the fans of the IP with said character but sideline them, like this trash, splinter cell only in name, sam is not the sam we all know, doesnt talk or act like the sam we know, he literally walks right in front of security cameras. Instead we're supposed to sit back and enjoy being talked down to by yet another strong, independent whaman of diverse background.... Im done with these guys, utter trash
