Despite not being that compelling with stories and characters, I find all of its kills to be beyond creative and masterfully done. Even some of its seasons paid homage to other great classics like the first Friday the Thirteenth for season 2.

On the strength of an almost perfect season two, I'd rate this show an 8. Seasons one and three, respectively, rate a 6 and 7 but season two is a great, great 9/10. That season was the best whodunit I've seen in 20 years or more. Excellent from beginning to end.

If you like Story, like me, Season 1 is good. If you like the kills, season 3 is good. Season 2 is only "ok" on both sides.

Season 3 is beyond stellar if your a horror fan. Scary not much... but gruesome death kills and keeps you guessing until the end. I am surprised how much I like this season compared to season 1. I highly recommend season 3.

What kind of garbage is this season? Seasons 1 and 2 were enjoyable seasons that had its share of gore but at least there was a storyline and some character development even if it was flawed. Season 3 is marred by terrible casting, poor excuses for actors, gore just for the sake of gore, and a non-existing plot. Terrible waste of my time even though I spent most of it falling asleep.

The first season was not bad, but with a terrible ending. Season 2 and 3 are just trash.

If you're expecting extensive character development, look elsewhere. If you, like me, are in it for the kills, you'll like "Slasher". Season 3 "Solstice" is the best thus far IMHO. The show attempts to make a point about our social media obsession. I'm not sure it completely hits home. But it is disgusting to watch people pretending to lead exciting lives online only to be completely miserable in the real world. The eight episodes of "Solstice" are chock full of craziness. It's sexy, it's violent and I loved it. The final reveal of the killer/killers is well worth the wait. Just look past the fact that the "Druid" looks like someone straight outta "The Purge".
