Knuckles is a fun, light show that has just enough edge to keep parents engaged, but is completely suitable for the whole family.

The fact the series never takes itself too seriously gives writers and directors the breathing space they need to include every wild idea that crosses their minds, from musical numbers to training montages inspired by sports films. Because of that, Knuckles is a testament to how a talented and passionate team can turn the most basic story beat into something unique and incredibly entertaining.

it's a pretty good show in my opinion. the characters and episodes are good (especially flames of disaster, that episode is the BEST) and it never stayed boring.

This is more ‘Wade’s World’ than ‘Sonic 2.5’. Still, Knuckles’ solo side-quest proves fun filler fluff as fans await the arrival of Shadow in the threequel.

Results will vary on “Knuckles”: hardcore fans of the franchise could be easily put off by how much Knuckles isn’t in the show. Others, maybe more casual viewers with little investment, might enjoy it for the harmless, low-stakes series it is.

Knuckles is very much a mixed bag. Sometimes, it feels like the Sonic films, with its use of larger-than-life characters in a real-world setting, but it loses focus to the point where Knuckles feels like a guest star in his own series.

Charitably, the series might be seen as a sort-of bonus for “Sonic” fans to keep the motor running while waiting for future movies, but it’s hard to imagine anyone on the shaving side of puberty being wowed by this iteration, and that demographic is unlikely to grasp the psychological nuance of Wade’s unresolved daddy issues.

I liked it. I like wade. Knuckles appeared enough in the show. I'd like to see more.

It's not as good as the two sonic films but it's a fun enough show overall. The writing just lets it down. It lacks plot direction, has too much comedic relief (even for a kids show). It's too goofy overall that even my kids didn't like it all that much. Also the main villain of the series, why even have him in it? He appears for the whole of 15 minutes and has no real character development. Rory McCann is wasted in this series. That said the CGI is incredibly good for a TV show and there's a lot of great licenced music in this show.

This is what corporate mandate product to justify their own streaming service looks like. This “mini series” is less then 3 hours but could have been so much better being 1 & half film if they cut off so much of the driveling fat due to Paramount not bothering to give a decent enough budget to have the main title character himself be present for more then half the total runtime since they think having him usurped by probably the most negative caricature of a Jewish American cop and his dysfunctional family that is barely anti-semitic in itself that he makes Jar-Jar Binks look like the most worthy successor to Gollum.
