Great Acting, Great Camera. Its a great show and i don't know what people here with ratings under 7 want.

É uma serie muito boa, que ja se inicia logo de cara no drama, sem enrolaçao. É uma serie que tem início, meio e fim bem resolvido. E com um plot twist de surpresa.

The performances and potential for lots of twists makes His & Hers a show that we want to see more of. But the first episode needed to give viewers a few more crums of contextual information in order for it to make more story sense.

It all floats along, watchable enough as far as it goes. It unfolds in that middle ground somewhere between utter boredom and compelling entertainment. But you can do better than that.

Where the ending of "His & Hers" straddles the line between good and bad in an interesting fashion, most of the show up until that point falls in the much less exciting middle ground of mere mediocrity.

The general indifference shown toward its own story — or, at least, the best versions of it — comes to emphasize the emptiness at its core. And the big reveal, so preciously protected until the very end, isn’t clever enough to distract from such a muted build-up. It isn’t really clever at all.

Unfortunately, with almost no chemistry between them [Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal], they’re lost in a sea of unconvincing misdirections that should have been a 90-minute feature, if that.

I thought it was mid until that final plot twist. I would have given it a 7 pre plot twist but post? I give it a 9.

Judging by other user scores (I couldn't care about critics anymore. I heard a rumor that ratings below 3 are not counted for users and if that is the case, ratings over 7 shouldn't be counted in the critics). I thought this was a great time-waster. I enjoyed the mystery. I saw the big reveal a little earlier than intended (because I'm awesome), but it didn't stop me from enjoying it. I kinda barreled right through to the end. The acting wasn't that bad, especially (and I hate myself because I am NOT a Tessa Thompson fan) Tess Thompson. She really did a great job, especially when her and John Bernthal talked about their shared trauma. Sure, there were some plot holes and some very implausible leaps in logic, but again, if you're being entertained, they don't stand out as much. Kudos to Sunita Mani. I lover her in anything I've seen her in. Smart, funny, super hot. Always a pleasure. I don't think they used her enough in this.

It had its moments, but the chemistry between Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson wasn't there for me. The finale is a fun ride, though, with something I don't think anyone outside book readers will see coming. It's also very consumable in terms of episode length (most around 40-ish minutes) and total episodes (six). It's a fine entry into the thriller series, but not on the upper tier.

Bernthal gives yet another truly great if not underrated performance but it's not enough to save the writing. It's such a loss and such a shame to squander his talent and contribution.
