In adapting seven installments of his own Webtoon comic, Choi is able to build a dynamic world, constantly and cleverly laying out the groundwork for the next step, and in the execution, Yen never lets up.

“Hellbound” is the kind of horror series that visibly grows with each episode, while it becomes apparent how much the storytellers have considered the scenario at hand in a very grounded sense.

Seldom has been a TV show this impactful, every episode is an event to be beholden by. Watch it for yourself and don't let the bad reviews jumble your opinions.

Despite how slow and disjointed the first episode of Hellbound is, it sets up an interesting story that could go just about anywhere.

As a hokey mystery there is lots to enjoy in these six episodes. Squid Game fans will, however, find it all too easy to wriggle free of Hellbound’s squishy grip.

Even as “Hellbound” struggles in its second act, one has to admire Yeon Sang-ho’s ambition here, taking his own webtoon and really expanding it into a multi-character, multi-arc story that sometimes almost feels too full of ideas.

Starts off with so much promise, but in the last half of the season it becomes an incoherent mess.

Extremely well-trod and petty. Anything it has to say about society has been said about 30 different times by Stephen King alone, all while inebriated. The CG monsters are incredibly goofy and give the show a tinge of a horror meme promulgated by 12-year-olds. It's just barely watchable when the Arrowhead Tiktoker isn't on the screen, awarding it 3 points. Utterly overrated, far moreso than Squid Game, which was a decades-old YA meme turned into overacted schmaltz.

Had never seen a Korean series before but if this one is any indication of what they're like then they're not for me: no writing or acting to speak of.

the most stupid serie ever made by Korean, even worse than the viral noticed squid game, don't get me wrong, squid game was a medium show (except E06). but this one is lack of story, meaning, acting and the list goes on.
