Late to the game watching this in 2024 but thought it was one of the best series I’ve ever watched. The way the show dealt with teenagers growing up in a small town hit home. Friday night was always football night. Coach hit it out of the park with his skills both in football and in life’s lessons. The entire cast is commended for their acting skills. A must watch series if you have not seen it yet.

One of the few shows on network TV that does everything right. A true slice of American life from the state of Texas. I just rewatched after watching when it aired 15 years ago and I like it even more this time through.

Too much whitey hate blacky for me. All the tropes are there from top to bottom. Not sure how the critics received this well as I've never seen people act like this and I went to a school in a pretty rich area as well.. Not once did one of the white kids pull his laptop away from one of the black kids.

Good movie. Amazing plot. Good theme and great character changes. There is a lot of good things about the movie.

Friday Night Lights is a series that shows the in depth passion that the state of Texas has for the game of football. Especially, High School Football. It is definitely a "binge" watch type of series. With the inescapable drama and the cliff hangers, Friday Night Lights is a show that will keep you on your toes, like a Quarterback throwing a wide open pass for a touchdown.
