They're no Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell, but Johnson and Shahi's teasing banter is definitely entertaining--plus, they're both easy on the eyes.

Nothing that happens with other characters or elsewhere in the plot, though, is likely to diminish Shahi's presence.

Maybe Fairly Legal will become a kind of "Good Wife-Lite," with Kate and Lauren doing a whole Alicia and Diane thing, but that's not necessarily bad.

Yes, the banter is forced and precious, and the premise of the show remains rather fuzzy. But they're all so darned pretty, which is just how USA likes it.

This shows going downhill in my opinion. I wouldn't say it was a fantastic show to begin with but it was certainly watchable - especially when compared to some of the rubbish on TV at the moment. However the title 'Fairly Legal' should be changed to 'Barely Legal' as the show steers away from focusing on legal matters and more into the love life of the characters, which doesn't improve it. The love lives should be the background arc story of the series not the major plot of each episode with the legal stories taking a back seat.
