As in season 1, the emphasis is on character development rather than cracking up viewers, though Doug Benson, Artie Lange, and Bill Burr inspire chuckles by playing versions of themselves. [12 Jan 2018, p.55]

For anyone already hooked on Crashing, Season 2 should keep them coming back, and new or unfamiliar viewers will find their patience through Season 1 adequately rewarded. It’s still a bit removed from must-see TV, but Holmes’ second go-round stands out instead of just standing up.

I stumbled upon this show and it is fricken hilarious!! Season 2 I found even funnier. I highly recommend this show if you like to laugh. It might have its slow parts but if you like comedians you will like this! I am excited for season 3!

Season two of Crashing hits with a much more consistent story than season one and at times is much funnier as well, but it also feels like it has more potential.
