Comedy with dramatic and satirical overtones. The argument has some originality but it feels quite artificial and although I cannot say that it was openly boring, it's not so pleasant either and its characters don't help at all actually. If you see it, let it be with reservations and with few expectations.

Madame, even with its outlandish plot, somehow managed to produce an authentic storyline. Although sappy at times, Rossy de Palma plays a playful, down-to-earth, although bordering on clueless, maid thrust into the politics and deception of the upper class. Great production and beautiful cinematography compliment the leading ladies tremendous acting.

I really liked Madame, I thought it was such a feel-good movie! From the very beginning upbeat song that played in the film’s opening credits, to Maria having her Pretty Woman moment while getting ready for the dinner party this movie is full on fun. Madame definitely had me wanting to get all gussied up to be the belle of the ball. This film is perfect for any romantic comedy lover, or anyone who has enjoyed movies such as Beatriz For Dinner or Maid In Manhattan. Totally recommend people give this film a watch!

In Madame, everyone is longing for something they don’t have. Listlessness compiles into a “grass is always greener” mentality, showing that you can’t escape problems no matter your position in life. Filled with romances, quirky characters, and a fun soundtrack, Madame will make you laugh and remind you that you never really know someone. Surprises abound, this film is a must see for fans of romantic comedies such as Maid in Manhattan.

Madame is a movie about one woman’s journey to self-discovery. Maria, a maid to a wealthy French family, finds herself falling for an unattainable man. Through pursuing this love, Maria unravels parts of herself she didn’t know existed. The movie is funny and whimsical, guaranteed to leave you feeling rejoiced.

Madame is the kind of movie that breaks the boundaries of social class. It’s a love story that doesn’t follow the normal script of what love looks like. This movie showed me that unconventional is fine and finding love can be in an unexpected place. Would recommend this movie to anyone that is over the RomCom genre and in the mood for a refreshing love story.

I really enjoyed Madame, and I truly connected with the main character, Maria. I just loved how she fell in love with the concept of love, something that I feel like she had lost a long time ago. I really suggest this movie for any sappy romance lovers, like myself. Definitely enjoyed this new take on a Cinderella twist.

Madame is a dramatic rom-com that tells the story of a maid who must fill in for a missing guest at her employer’s dinner party, while one of the other guests inadvertently falls in love with her. The film carries a quirky tone throughout the film, especially in part to Anne Fredericks, played by Toni Collette, an eccentric, wealthy housewife that bases all her decisions on what others think and making sure no one is happier than she is. She’s a character that the audience will love to hate, and only strengthens the quirky vibes the film puts out. This isn’t necessarily the greatest love story ever told, but it is one that’s worth a watch.

Madame is a charming new indie film about a maid who gets caught up in a whirlwind romance with a rich art collector after pretending to be a noblewoman. This modern day Cinderella story is full of heartwarming romance, laugh out loud comedy, drama, deception, and so much more. My favorite part was definitely the ending when the maid, Maria, finally finds the courage to stand up for herself. I highly recommend seeing this wonderful new film!

Be warned: this movie isn’t what you expect. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, because surprises make for interesting stories. Rather than a cheap and shallow romantic comedy, Madame ends up creating some really poignant moments and some brilliant commentary on classism in America and around the world. It features some brilliant performances from Rossy de Palma, Toni Collette and Harvey Keitel, and as always, Paris is beautiful. The chemistry between the two leads can be tenuous at times, but other than that, this is a confident, genuine, and intelligent take on the romantic comedy genre.

Madame is quirky, funny and romantic. This incredible film about a maid who decides to date outside of her "social class" will have you never wanting the movie to end. Rosy de Palma does an excellent job of bringing out her characters uniqueness and quirk. I highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a great romantic comedy to watch!

Madame was a wonderful romantic comedy everyone should see! Directed by Amanda Sthers, this movie will melt your heart. The transformation of the maid throughout this movie is beautiful. There are also some one-liners, and sarcasm to put a smile on your face. Don’t miss out on this one!

Toni Collette’s character was a snobby rich women whom I loved! There is something to say about a rich woman who’s jealous of her maid, haha. With that being said, the film goes deeper than you’d expect it to if you pay close attention. This refreshing romantic comedy will admittedly leave the hopeless romantic in pain but it’s well worth the watch.

The core of this film's comedic air is the spectacular performance by Rossy de Palma. The talented and experienced actress make this film more enjoyable and laughable, and mixed with the equally good performance by Toni Collette, this film is a beautiful dance of emotions, desires, and duties that vary with one's role in society. Each role is crucial in this film, and Amanda Sthers joins them together to craft a story full of love, life experiences, and laughs. Totally recommended if you're looking for an everyday film to enjoy and keep in your mind for several weeks.
