Description: Ed "ISKY" Iskenderian didn't just build engines — he built the sport of drag racing from the ground up. Long before land-speed records and legendary showdowns, a young machinist obsessed with speed started grinding camshafts in his own garage. What followed changed motorsports forever. Alongside a crew of fearless innovators — John Athan, Mickey Thompson, Vic Edelbrock, Don "Big Daddy" Garlits, and Bones Balogh — Iskenderian helped invent the parts, the language, and the culture of hot-rodding as we know it. This is the story of the machinists, dreamers, and daredevils who turned backyard tinkering into a cultural revolution — and of the man whose name became synonymous with speed itself.
