This picture is just one upsetting scene after another, which then only belatedly coalesce into a story — too late really to pay off any investment in those remarkable early moments.

Since I am from Michigan, Crepitus really resonated with me. I used to live in rural Michigan and I remember scary stories, strange people, those who you suspected of evil intentions and some innocent people who might not be that innocent after all. Even the house was so typical of creepy houses I have seen. The actors, who played the two young sisters, just nailed the dialog, the sometimes vacant looks, and the mindset of children locked into an evil scenario. Bill Mosely was the icing on the cake of horror as the disturbing nasty clown. I thought it would be a fun scary movie and it was… BUT it was unsettling in showing the dark underside of rural Michigan with an over-the top horror plot mingling with drug and alcohol and child abuse.

Great movie! Slow start but a damn fine ending. That little girl star seems like seasoned. I agree. Chalet Brannan pulled off a stunning performance in a quite long film. Starring alongside Bill Moseley can’t be easy. Kudos to the cast and crew. Good flick to see Miles.

What a ride! I got the privilege to see and rate this film. Moseley does a terrific job once again. Wish there was more of him. Chalet Lizette Brannan as a co star knocked this out of the park!!! She was in form Caitlin Williams her sister did a great job and Eve Mauro, can’t say enough good about her. She and Ms Brannan were in another outstanding performance of a film. Great job everyone.
