Something of a featherweight, but it's also a positively divine comedy.

The important thing is that Hurley looks smashing in her succession of red outfits.

Fantastic movie. I loved, loved, loved this movie. Elizabeth Hurley gave an amazing and a sexy performance. Not to mention she had an amazing wardrobe throughout the movie.

The movie doesn't take itself seriously, even for a comedy, and just has a fun time. It's not a masterpiece, but a movie I've come back to rewatch many times over the years.

Quite enjoyable on its own terms.

This updated version has the good sense to star Brendan Fraser, who is shaping up as one of our finest romantic-comedy stars.

Should sell its soul for a joke.

The skitcom format soon becomes tiresome.

Hardly lives up to its name -- bedeviled is more like it.

Hurley and Fraser have such easy chemistry with each other and it elevates the movie far beyond what it should have been IMO. Those two alone make the movie worth watching.

A charming underperformer, bedazzled was clearly made with a spirit of fun to it. Sadly the performances directed here, poorly aged visual effects and basic script just don't do the idea enough justice. An entertaining but flawed watch.

The stagnant machinery of a soul-selling gimmick: A 2.0-star vivid but repetitive drift through superficial wishes.2007(2.0)I watched "Bedazzled" in 2007, and it remains a pathetic 2.0-star record in my archive—a vivid display of how a sensational premise can be wasted on stagnant and hollow execution. This experience **** the fourth wall of the romantic comedy genre by infusing Brendan Fraser’s raw, multi-character effort into a narrative rhythm that felt 100% mechanical and stagnant. While the production attempted a sensational transformation with Elizabeth Hurley’s vivid but pathetic devil, the narrative rhythm was far too stagnant, dragging through a pathetic cycle of "careful what you wish for" tropes that lacked the chewy intellectual depth of my top-tier records. Seeing the vivid but pathetic struggle of Elliot Richards to find love provided a rhythmic sense of annoyance, but the emotional payoff felt stagnant and shallow, leaving me in a state of silent frustration. The 95% preservation of my memory is dominated by the rhythmic, raw absurdity of the drug lord sequence and the vivid but stagnant execution of the giant-basketballer segment, creating a journey that felt more like a pathetic sketch show than a permanent, sensational scar on my soul. Unlike the vivid soul of "Tropic Thunder" or the raw brilliance of "Harold & Kumar," this encounter possessed a rhythm that was far too stagnant to resonate. It stands in my 2007 record as a vivid exercise in wasted potential—a 2.0-star artifact of rhythmic boredom that remained too pathetic to achieve a sensational impact on my psychological archive.

A mindless and hilariously flawed movie that can entertain you for the night, and through to the early morning (if you survive that long watching this). Brendan Fraser overacts, as he usually does, but in a way that really fits his character, and Elizabeth Hurley plays a very hot Devil as best as can be played. This film suffers from an awkward pace, very questionable and cheap effects, and a weak script. I can appreciate the protagonist's arch, but the other factors of the film don't bring anything redeemable or worthwhile enough to take time to invest into the character. They did, however, bring the movie down, like a ship sinking slowly beneath the surface.

You can get a few good laughs of this movie (thanks to the script), but from that to have scores above 6 out of 10 it's crazy, Fraser as always, over acting and yelling. Some people say that it doesn't matter that the movie it's dumb because all comedies have to be stupid and I totally disagree with that point of view, I do like fine, intelligent comedians in the movies. I think this movie deserves a 5 out of 10 but since it's being overrated this is my score.
