Only those who have a taste for the seventh art will get a real kick out of it and also, overlook some of the issues that prevents it from being the most amazing thing to happen to the Kinect platform since its launch last November.

Despite its expansive career-mode, Yoostar 2 is a title that you'll play fanatically for days on end. It's prominently a game used to breathe new life into parties. The game's concept is decent and offers enough options for someone to pretend they're a famous actor alone, or with a friend. The technical issues however, hold it back from reaching certain stardom.

A great concept with plenty of content that will have you and your friends in stitches while it lasts, but the technology is a bit ropey and the initial charm wears off pretty quickly. [Issue#71, p.82]

The game can be fun, but it's strictly a multiplayer affair, and it needs more meat. As it stands, it feels a bit like the publishers' way to lead owners into a world of endless microtransactions.

Despite its technical imperfections, Yoostar 2 can be enjoyable if you step out of your shell and be a total ham. Bring in some friends for a full cast, and you'll get some laughs during your acting debut.

Yoostar 2 could have been very entertaining if it wasn't for some defects like the awkward player positioning in front of the camera and some user interface problems. Moreover, Arcade console owners without an Hard Drive won't be able to fully use the game: an information that should have been evident on the game's cover, rather than being hidden in tiny print on the back.

Yoostar 2 could be a barrel of laughs and really is if you have the means and gathering of friends and social buddies to enjoy it, but keep in mind all isn't glamorous in this Hollywood setting. If you have all the right components, Yoostar 2 could be the "Rock Band" of the actor's guild. For the rest of us, it may be more worth it to rent or watch a movie in its entirety.

On paper (or celluloid) Yoostar 2 is a great idea, but it's hampered by a sloppy user interface, blocky outlines, Kinect tics and a weird mix of movie clips. It's guaranteed to provide a few hours of entertainment and some hearty belly laughs, but ultimately, Yoostar 2 is a bit of a box-office flop.
