Multiplayer functionality so good it'll make you squirm with delight. [Oct 2013, p.81]

If this is the direction that the Worms series is going to be taking in the years down the road, then I think Worms 3 can easily be seen as the starting point for these little guys’ eventual world domination (well you know, if they’re able to really crawl that far).

Worms 3's new squad and card mechanics may not entirely suit the tastes of purists, but if the series is to evolve any further then it surely has to take a few risks somewhere along the line. It's not entirely Worms as you know it, then, but those new twists are entertaining enough to ensure that this new mobile outing for the franchise is more than capable of standing on its own two feet.

An entertaining single-player mode and some excellent multiplayer modes make Worms 3 a decent addition to the long-running series.

Sure, Worms 3 isn't exactly groundbreaking for the series, but it hits the right notes to offer fans the complete Worms experience on the go.

Worms 3 is exactly what you know it for. The map-system and the different classes offer a little extra depth, but this only has longevity when playing it online. The predictable enemies only keep the single player fun for a few hours.

For fans of the franchise, Worms 3 delivers what you’d expect. There’s nothing here that succeeds or fails by leaps and bounds. Rather, this latest release is another solid, incremental inching forward of one of gaming’s longest-running franchises.

Worms 3 is an intense battle with horrible controls and poor game balancing that isn’t worth your money, and definitely not your time. It’s an embarrassing release, that no one should ever have to be subject to. Harsh I know, but Worms 3 earned it. If this review changes just one person’t mind on picking up this game, then my job is done.
