Customisable game modes and the option to create your own stages give Ultimate Chicken Horse a nice starting point but the gameplay on offer does wear a little stale after a few rounds.

The system that has managed to create Clever Endeavor Games is really admirable. The game hides some mechanics of great complexity with a very varied personalization in all its sections. Although its control is somewhat imprecise and we would have liked to see more blocks with which to experiment, the fun offered by the game makes us recommend it.

While the platforming aspect of the game doesn’t appear to be as big a selling point as the level creation, the gameplay is still tight and solid enough.

This is the perfect party game that is not about winning, but about seeing your friends lose.
If you like seeing your friends suffer the most silly death while you are a chicken and they are a horse: This is the game for you. It misses button mapping. Jumping in „A“ and sprinting in „X“ feels off

INTRO: Ultimate Chicken Horse is a masterclass in "friendship-ending" game design. The premise is brilliantly simple: you and your friends build a platforming level together, piece by piece, with the goal of making it impossible for everyone else—but just barely doable for yourself. It turns the traditional platformer into a psychological battle of wits and platforming skill. While the visuals are charmingly lo-fi and the core loop is nearly perfect, the game is strictly a multiplayer affair. Without a group of friends or a stable internet connection, the magic evaporates quickly. However, when the lobby is full and the traps are spinning, there is truly nothing else like it. It’s a hilarious, high-stakes game of "chicken" where the only thing sharper than the sawblades is the betrayal of your best friend. PROS: BRILLIANT GAMEPLAY LOOP: The cycle of building, sabotage, and platforming remains fresh even after hundreds of hours. INFINITE CREATIVITY: The variety of traps—from honey patches to hockey puck shooters—allow for endless level combinations. HIGH ACCESSIBILITY: Simple "jump and wall-slide" controls make it easy for anyone to pick up and play immediately. EXCELLENT CROSS-PLAY: Robust support across Steam, consoles, and even the Epic Games Store ensures a healthy player base. CONS: LACKS SOLO CONTENT: There is very little to do if you aren't playing with others; it is not meant to be a single-player game. CLUNKY UI: Navigating the community level menus and settings can feel dated and sometimes cumbersome. UNLOCKING: The "Mystery Box" system for unlocking new characters and outfits is randomized and can feel tedious. THE FINAL VERDICT: A must-own for anyone who loves local or online multiplayer. While it lacks a solo campaign, its unique blend of creative building and tight platforming makes it a permanent staple of any party game library.

The game itself is okay, but the reason I'm giving this a 7 is that It's simply forgotten in my Nintendo Switch. The Party mode in online drives people crazy by the simple fact you absolutely need to choose an item from a box every single turn, and even worse when you play in 2 player mode: instead of one item from one box every turn, it's TWO ITEMS EVERY TURN. The good part of the game is the challenge mode, where you can pick a level made by a person then try passing it, and the free game mode, where you can make a level all by yourself then post it on a community.

Ultimate Chicken Horse effortlessly combines level creation, solid platforming and brilliant multiplayer all into one fantastic package. It’s a game that continues to surprise and amuse in huge measures and if we do end up seeing a Super Mario Maker sequel in the future then Nintendo would be wise to take to note of what Clever Endeavour Games has accomplished here.

This is one of my favourite games to play with friends or family hugly enjoyable with friends although I wouldn't recommend it as a single player game excited to see what the future holds for the future of this game and developer I am sincerely hoping for a sequel.

Underrated game. Very fun to play with either friends or family and watching competitive UHC is surprisingly entertaining. Customizable, and characters are unique and cool, each character can be another character at once. Updates take a while, but is worth the wait. Buy on sale usually is what I did and try the game out, and there's a cheat code if you want all the characters, maps, and customizable, not needing to achieve them.

Ultimate Chicken Horse is very easily one of the best party games on Switch. It has a unique blend of creativity and platforming, it is widely accessible with intuitive, fluid controls, and it has loads of content and potential. There was one issue with the port job: Within a few hours of play, I had the game crash on me twice. However, outside of those rare instances, this is one of the most fun experiences on my Switch. If you play your Switch with friends, ever, then you need Ultimate Chicken Horse.

The style of Ultimate Chicken Horse is great and when it all comes together, it is a special brand of silly party gaming. Unfortunately, unless you find that perfect situation, the quality of the fun can vary wildly. So much of the amusement here is dependent on having the right people to play with. Find that setup and this is a madcap party game.

Best 2-4 player game ever. Simple, but so much fun.
There are enough moving components in this game to keep it fresh

It is the best party game I've ever played. It is very fun if you have at least two more friends to play with.

This is the best party game of the current era. It triumphs over others in sheer creativity. It can become refreshingly challenging and has good variety. It does however suffer from a lack of content, and online play is very laggy.

Es un buen juego, pero no lo recomendaría si es que lo piensas jugar con solo una persona más o incluso 3. Es un juego para 4.
