Platformers on iOS need to have something very interesting about them in order to get noticed. To make matters more difficult, they also need to execute the basics without issue. The Big Journey succeeds on all these fronts with a gorgeous adventure about a colorful kitty. I had a great time leading Mr. Whiskers on his journey and I'm sure you will too.

Together with the graphics and ease of gameplay, the soundtrack helps make The Big Journey one of the most accessible games on the market, something that can be enjoyed and adored by players of all ages and skill levels.

The Big Journey may have some un-fur-tunate issues with its controls, but it's hardly claw-ful - I dare say you'd better play it meow.

If you are craving a platformer that pushes your skills to their limits, go pick up Golf Zero or something. The Big Journey just wants you to be happy, and it succeeds at doing that by providing a familiar formula in an adorable package.

It’s not the first time that a mobile game tries to capture that LocoRoco feeling, but The Big Journey does the job pretty well, thanks to charming visuals and a gameplay suitable for all ages.
