Arcanity Inc has created a world so immersive I don't ever want to leave. Tanzia is beautiful, the story is interesting, and it's just overall a very great adventure. The combat is a lot of fun, with balancing the use of potions and magic (or rather "Alchemy" and "Arcanity"). It's not too difficult **** but it doesn't hold your hand either as you often have to find your own solutions to challenges. There's a lot of classic RPG elements so if you like 3D RPGs you'll enjoy Tanzia. I've been recommending it to everybody lol. The music is really good too.

Tanzia is what you get when you have a couple of guys who are passionate about bringing their vision to life. A world full of adventure and magic awaits you in Tanzia. You play a shaman who is on a mission to learn about his missing grandfather. The story isnt anything over the top amazing, but it is fun to play through. Along the way you will learn basics spells like fireball but quickly move onto more advanced magic such as ice comet. While the spell system is great, the melee combat leaves much to be desired. I hear the melee is being revamped though for a future update, so we will see what comes of that. As someone who doesn't normally buy / play indie games I have to recommend this one.

I am a huge RPG fan from the beginning of the ages. Played Tibia, Mu Online, Ultima Online, World of Warcraft and many others really old RPG games back in the day. Today I don't have enough time to sit in front of a computer or a video game and play for hours to get stronger. Because of the Switch, I finally have enough time to play RPG games, and I am really glad this game is on the system. Of course, it has some problems, there are some animation bugs, and exploits you can do on the map. But that in no way makes the game lose its charm. It is an indie game with a lot of effort put into it, and you can see how much the developers care for it, and are always addressing the bugs and correcting it. If you really miss the old style RPG and don't have the time to play them anymore, this game will give you the nostalgia it gave me. I have many hours on it already and will keep playing for a long time. We need more games like this to play on the Switch. Hope everyone will give it a chance.

Tanzia is an Action-RPG adventure that reminds me of the good old days of the genre. The game has very colorful, 3D environments to explore and there is a lot you can do from main quests, to side quests as well as crafting. Basically everything you need in an RPG. It is a lot of fun. a good pace to keep your attention, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique indie game to play

I sometimes base my game buying purchases on user reviews. Imagine my surprise when I see this at the top of the user charts, go and buy it, then find myself playing a game devoid of character or discernible polish. This game was a let down, I created an account just so I could attempt to regulate the ratings for this game. I honestly think it should be a 3, but in order to counter the 9.1 I saw earlier I had to rate it a zero.

I've been looking for a WoW'esque (other than multiplayer) gameplay since the launch of the Switch. Beautiful visuals and easy to grasp controls made this a joy to play. Controls much like WoW or for me I referenced the hot bar in DC Universe Online. Learning new spells and recipe's for potions as you progress and level up. The story had just enough meat to keep me wanting more with the main quest line with bits of comedy sprinkled in from several NCP's in the game. To conclude I love what Tanzia brings to the Switch its worth every bit of $20 and I hope to spend more money on future DLC.

This game is a fun RPG with a quirky, touching story and well-balanced difficulty. It's accessible to a casual gamer, but difficult enough to present a challenge as well. Having played the game in it's initial stages as a PC/Steam game, I was delighted to find that it was being released on Switch because it's a perfect match for platform. The story was surprisingly complex, following one family's story over several generations. As the protagonist, you must discover your family's secret, master the forgotten art of Arcanity, and save your family and your tribe. Good luck!

This game is exactly what it seems, anyone expecting more will be disappointed. When you can clearly see the graphics are not to your taste before purchase, don't buy the game and then judge the graphics. Btw I think the graphics are beautiful, I have an appreciation for all types of graphics and these fit the theme of this game wonderfully. I enjoy the traditional fetch and kill quests, how potions are a major part of gameplay, grinding gold and levels to improve your character, the totems for mana regen when out of combat... many elements of this game to love. Does it bring anything new to the genre? What game does these days there are so many games and over the span of so many years. It does however bring something new to the Switch. This game is a breath of fresh air with an eshop filled with high difficulty frustration building games. It has difficulty settings so when I just want to have fun and play casually I can do so, I save difficult gaming for my pc. The graphics are also something new on the switch. We have realistic graphics and pixel graphics rpgs but nothing like this and I was anxious to dig in. It did not disappoint me in the least. I hope to see more from Arcanity in the future! I put this in my top five Switch RPGs.

Tanzia in one word is “Nostalgic” I mean this is the most respectful and positive way. It takes everything you liked about games from the Golden Age of gaming (PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast) and packages in an updated user experience. The love and attention the dev team has given the world is apparent form the first minutes in when you start to learn your skills. I never played WOW, but I can imagine this is what it might have felt like in the beginning, if WOW was single player. The quests are fun, the world is surprisingly open and full of wonders. The combat is a cross between action and MMO, which I feel the devs delivered on in spades. I never got bored wielding my spells. Killing hordes of enemies still feels satisfying after 5 hours and the gameplay delivers on the challenge one would expect when it you vs the world. The story is solid and makes you feel like you’re on this epic Hero’s Journey. All I can say this is one of the most enjoyable games I have played on my switch and I cannot wait to see how they update this title!

I was lucky enough to be someone who played this game in early access and it's gotten even better since then. the developers have put a lot of love and care into this creation and it fits a light RPG setting perfectly. if you're a fan of the likes of MMO's similar to WoW then you'll love this single player experience!

This game is very well done, but simple. That is a good thing. It is a story driven game, that involves basic combat, basic crafting, basic armor and weapons. But this all translates into a great game. It handles well, controls are solid. Only minor issues with the jump, for example, doesn't move in mid air. I played on normal mode, and handled the game straightforward. My biggest complaint, was that it wasn't long enough. I love Indies that are 3D, open world, and not a platformer. So give this game a shot and enjoy it!

This game is great. Think WoW but a single player version. It's fun. 'Nuff said.

Want to have as much fun as Zelda and not have to spend to much on the damn thing then Tanzias for you are a shaman to be and have to defeat the skeleton King so you have to learn and buy potions spells and more you can equip these in a tab for fast fun combat its what really made the game more fluid combat wise IMO its not overpriced and has as much fun elements to the game when I compare it to Zelda in fact a lot of the Quests are just as wacky and its has just as much charm its like an old school RPG the open world is interesting enough and the activities/Quests are well though out and done Graphics are nice enough and the enemies and backdrops are very nice it runs so damn smooth too on the switch as well and is a blast to play potions power ups and spells are numerous you can turn into a bear run super fast be immune to damage and **** games just so much fun enemies are well designed easy and pathetic to damn right vicious and unrelenting this game IMO is worthy of being in anyone's collection and has enough content to keep you entertained its also easy for kids to get into and will keep them busy so ...not bad at all

Want an Action-RPG adventure that will run away with your heart and your playtime? Tanzia has got you covered, with a beautiful open world to explore, a story to indulge in, interesting characters to meet and the ability to own enemies, this game is all I could have hoped for with my Switch. It's an absolute gem **** I have sunk so many hours into it!

Tanzia is what you get when you mix early WoW, happy bubble art, a graphic novel, and really, REALLY big bees. The spells are fun, the graphics are bright and adorable, the story-line is engaging... and the bees are heart-attack inducing. Gameplay is absorbing, challenging, and makes the game easy to pick up (I've found it to be a fantastic stress reliever). The re-play value is definitely there and I've actually found it to be fairly rewarding to do certain areas more than once (mostly because my spells are better and it feels great to melt faces that previously ate yours!). There are fun hidden secrets, spell and spell components to collect, armor upgrades, and really high somersaults that make this game consistently fun to play and to stream. Unmistakably a fantastic game!

Tanzia is like a long-lost love letter to the early PS2 generation of games. The bright, vibrant visuals, although simple, feel clean and refreshing. The game is far for a AAA, big-budget game, but it has enough charm, heart, and genuine challenge to make for one of the most memorable, satisfying gaming adventures I've embarked on in quite some time. While the gameplay certainly has a few quirks to get used to, I never found myself frustrated or not enjoying myself. The stellar art direction, combined with limited but fantastic voice-acting, makes for a game that takes you back to a simpler age, when "adventure" was enough reason to get **** into a game. I highly recommend anyone check this game out, as it really is a breath of fresh air.

Tanzia is amazing, it's one of the top games I've played in quite some time. The graphics are simply beautiful. The gameplay reminds me of my old pc games (remember when WOW first came out), it's a fluid and smooth version of the early 2000's WOW. The gameplay is hard but rewarding. The spells, attack and mechanics take some timing and utilization with intent. You have to play smart. This game is not your typical game. For me there really wasn't a downfall. Only negative is this game was out already. Graphics 5 out of 5 Gameplay 5 out of 5 Controls / mechanics 5 out of 5.

This game is an Action-RPG adventure that reminds me of the good old days of the genre. The game has nice colorful, open 3D environments to explore. It really reminds me of something from the N64 days, but with modern visuals, I guess that is why it is a nice fit on the Nintendo Switch console that it was released on as well as on Steam for the PC RPG lovers as well. The combat is fast and fun, lots of magic spells to use on the monsters and bosses. It's a nice single-player game, you can pick up and play any time, you don't need other players, it has controller support on PC if you are wondering, So bust out a classic controller, or a PS4, Xbox or whatever kind of controller you own. The devs are working hard to add more chapters to the game after release which will make it something you can come back to and enjoy for a good while to come.

For a game on the Nintendo Switch, Tanzia looks pretty good. It has a lot of RPG elements, questing, exploration, you name it. It's only flaws is that saving is needed in case something goes wrong. Other than that, it's overall an enjoyable game that you should get into enjoying. A recommendation.
