A relatively slow start soon becomes a frantic effort to combat sub-zero temperatures, starvation and insanity. If your constitution can withstand murder, cannibalism, paranoid delusions and a choking miasma of nihilistic despair, Symmetry will effortlessly contribute to your existing psychopathy. Recommended!

Sleepless manages to create an overwhelming adventure of survival where science fiction puts the predominant note together an excessive -and successful- difficulty. Negative point is that mechanics are repeated over and over again and much of the impact caused by the first beats is lost. A second part with these additions can give us a memorable game.

A challenging survival game with a dark atmosphere and intriguing story. It’s much better than its price suggests, but can be really frustrating when the random factor (implemented to intensify tension) goes rogue and causes almost all the systems in your base to malfunction within half a minute. SYMMETRY takes masterful atmosphere aided by great art and sound, and plugs it all into overly simple yet unfairly difficult gameplay strung around a story that starts in an interesting manner but goes nowhere meaningful. There is a whole lot of potential on display here that gets left out in the cold.

Symmetry is a survival that does not excel in any way. Art design and narrative premises presage a great adventure, but the repetitive gameplay mortifies any ambition in the game.

There is a whole lot of potential on display here that gets left out in the cold. Great atmosphere, art style and an intriguing story… Bad gameplay.

Promising, but unfinished in every direction. That's Symmetry. A survival game without which you can definitely survive.

While Symmetry has an appealing art style, and an intriguing story, it doesn’t have the gameplay to hold attention.
