There’s a great game in Street Fighter V, but only if you’re willing to learn the hard way. Capcom will need more than the few thousand competitors following the Capcom Pro Tour to make this game, and the series as a whole, sustainable for the future.

Everything that I didn’t like about SFIV is gone, leaving a deep yet easy to grasp, spectacular game. [04/2016, p.34]

Despite simplistic single-player and feeble tutorials, SFV is a completely essential fighting game. [Apr 2016, p.70]

This would be a good game, but the server problems are inexcusable. Congratulations, Capcom. This is one of your biggest failures.

Street Fighter 5 is deep, endlessly fun, and immensely inviting, but local competitive play is currently the primary way to enjoy it.

Street Fighter V is one of the best games with a amazing competitive scene, amazing online, updated game, and new characters every couple months

Critical Hit
Though bare-bones in presentation and lacking single player content right now, Street Fighter V offers a perfect blend of accessibility and depth, making it a fun fighter for players of all skill levels.

Street Fighter V paves the way for the future of Capcom’s legendary fighting game series—but it’s also a release that’s relying on near-future updates in order to feel like a finished product. Once they come, however, this should really be something special.

The fact that a handful of game modes and features aren't ready for consumer use feels frustrating, especially since the quality of those inclusions can't be judged until they make it into the game. Battle Lounges, Online Lobbies, and Spectator modes could be awesome, but right now, nobody can say for sure.

We Got This Covered
Street Fighter V is easily the fighting title I’ve had the most fun playing in my 20 years of gaming. That’s also why the overall package is such a disappointment. Instead of getting a feature complete, content filled package, we’re instead left with a bare bones offering that doesn’t even have the basics of the genre. The gameplay is phenomenal, with the enhancements being a natural progression of the series, but you have so few ways to experience it.

The game is basically fun. And there is a general story mode. And you can skip some battle that you find too challenging.

In theory, it could be a really good fighting game. The repulsively greedy game design just won't let it be one.

This game is very generic and bare bones, Just a copy and paste of the genre. And is most of the reason why I dont like these type of games, The gameplay is smooth but normal for a street fighter game. Lacks content unless you pay for stages/characters, they have all the games in arcade, winch remakes all the past games, with I would like if they didn't just remake the new game into the past games, So it doesn't have nostalgia value, there is a lot of content if you get special edition or buy ALL THE DLC, the games story is bad, The online is pretty good, but overall its an mediocre game with generic, but smooth gameplay.

The Standard Street Fighter V doesnt feel completed, too many contet greyed out, to unlock more content it needs ridiculous amount of play time or you buy the season pass/champion ship edition upgrade.
