Why doesn't this developer make more games with arcade gameplay like Ride 2008? These bums think that there are no people who like motorcycles and like arcade gameplay.

Very good game, best game about moto racing. It has a team mode that brings something new to be more enjoyable. I recomend 100%.

Ride 2 is a great game, the old reviews you find on the web are really unfair. My guess is that perhaps things got fixed since release. The reviews should have been updated. I currently own about 25 bikes, they all feel different. I'm not at all an expert in racing, I only have a controller and mostly played arcade racing (mini)games before. Yet I have a lot of fun with this title. I do keep most assists on so far, it's the kind of riding that I want. With that, the racing is a lot of fun; nothing beats carefully crashing other bikers to take the lead :D I have tons of gold medals, played over 100 races and still coming back. Money is a bit slow to come; the bikes are expensive to buy and to upgrade. But that's why you have these invitational events every 8 races, where you are offered four times the usual credits plus a free bike. So I'd say progression is well balanced. There are still tons of content to explore, I haven't tested these R1 bikes yet. I can tell you though that super fast bikes are a lot more difficult to handle than average ones, as expected. The game encourages you to explore different kinds of bikes all the time by putting limits on the maximum pp in races. So no bike is ever obsolete. As a negative point, I'd say the game doesn't encourage you to take risks by removing assists and increasing the difficulty. Indeed, the game only rewards you with a very tiny bonus for a significantly harder experience. It would have been more exciting to give greater rewards for brave riders. Another negative point is the existence of a booster pack you can buy with real money. Unless you are a hardcore fan of motorcycles, I recommend you buy the standard edition, it's cheaper and already has more bikes than you'll ever manage to buy.

Man i really enjoying this game, a lot of bikes and tracks, accesible physics but not to the point to be boring, the sounds of the bikes is fantastic. Maybe the graphics is the only meh aspect but at the end of the day the game is solid.

É um jogo legal, mas para pegar numa boa promoção, não é o tipo de jogo que eu costumo jogar, mas acabei me divertindo.

Is Ride 2 still worth playing in 2021? Definitely, but with a few exceptions. I paid $5 on PS Store for the SE and have pumped some serious hours in. This is a quick, honest review from someone new to the genre, but does ride in real life. I still own a PS3 Superbike game that I bought cheap, played once, and forgot all about because it seemed cluttered, confusing, and difficult.. I didn't have the time or want to deal with it. Ride 2, however, is incredibly accessible. I started out with all the settings and difficulty turned down to get an idea of gameplay. Within a couple races I had the difficulty and physics increased and all the assists turned off. The graphics are still amazing on my PS4 slim, 50" UHD Vizio, and give me a huge rush when doing a screaming speed run on a bike I've meticulously tuned (more on that in a minute). I play 95% in the FP handlebar view because of the realism and sensation of speed it gives. I love motorcycles. I ride an 1100 cruiser and have never been on a sport bike. This game confirms i would have too much fun and hurt myself horrendously. I do wish there were large CC cruisers, but since this is a racing game and not a Sunday cruise simulator, they get a pass. The tuning is basic, yet adequate. It offers enough to change handling without overwhelming you with settings you'll likely never touch, such as GT. The biggest issue for me isn't the lack of paint options but the menu and layouts. The inability to run a quick lap after doing some adj. before a race is very annoying. Basically, I run a lap and see where i end up then bounce back to time trials to knock off time. I imagine this will be less bothersome once i get a good grasp of each track and owned bike attributes. Bouncing between menu screens gets old. Another glaring omission is the ability to directly compare one bike to another while shopping and especially getting a quick test ride. They're small yet very annoying complaints. Everything that truly matters is here and it's solid though. Gameplay is tight. Sound and graphics are on point. All the basic modes are here and shopping for a new bike to customize and run a series is always fun. Each and every bike and style looks top notch and handles differently. It's been years since I've been addicted to a racing game, and maybe its bc I haven't ridden in over a year, but this game scratches an itch for me. It's my go-to bike game til I can snag a PS5 and Ride 4. Snag it cheap if ya can. Cheers.

That's right. You buy the game with the promise of free expansions titled "add bikes to your garage". That simple. What do you think it is? Free bikes, I supposed. When you start to play, the deceived player realise that he has only "the right to buy the bikes", hgh priced. No matter the good graphics and/or the gameplay. Can't give a minimum rate to this game.

The whole purpose of what I’ve been doing the last couple of years is to find new games genres and franchises that I like. Unfortunately for every new discovered Genre that you like, there are going to be some Genre that you don’t like. I don’t think I like racing games. I enjoy playing Mario Kart with friends but racing against AI or maybe people online. It’s just not fun for me. I don’t know if this is a good racing game, all I do know is that I found it to be very boring. I’m glad that I found out early this year that I’m not into racing games so I know to stop buying/renting them. There is not much more I can say about this game, it was extremely boring and I don’t want to play any more racing games (other than the occasional cart racer).

+ Graphics is good. + Bike's sounds are good but the environment sound isn't (no wind sound, tree, the crowd...) - The game is not enough motorcycle up to 2016 or 2017. - They give us Customization system (upgrade bike system) but the game remove the bike which has been customized in a specific racing mode. Why?

I really enjoyed this game. Not sure why there is such a "backlash" regarding weak graphics or AI; I have not found anything even close to this level of motorcycle racing experience with any other game developer. The bikes look and play quite realistic. It is exciting to get a chance to bring such a variety of bikes through their paces on the track. The areas I would like to see improved are more realistic sound and more tracks. The possibility of a virtual city to ride these bikes through would be entertaining but probably not realistic within budget and focus of the game.

The motorcycle simulator. There are a lot of games modes, but principals are the Race and the Time trial. There are a lot of circuit (about half of these are italians, and that's only a good thing: I love italian circuits) and 195 free bikes (about 25 are DLCs) and about half of these bikes are italian (I love italian bikes). Every motorcycle has got specific features and there is upgredablein a lot of different parts of the bike, and the biker is featurable with new helmets and suits. The only defect are the bugs, a lot of bugs, but they don't worse the gameplay. That's all for the Milestone game.

Ride 2 is a challenging, yet fun, motorcycle racing simulator made by Milestone. The game immerses the player in the simulation by including real life racetracks, and most importantly, real motorcycles. There are a lot of customizable classic cruisers, sport, supermoto and supersport motorcycles. The visuals are stunning and are an improvement over its predecessor, Ride. However, the drawback to this game is an initial installation time of about 30-45 minutes. There are arcade elements as well. There is no health bar. Also, if you crash. The rider gets right back up after flopping like a rag doll. I think this game is perfect for the casual to experienced gamer as you can set each of the races difficulty before beginning the track. If you are looking for a motorcycle racing simulator coupled with arcade gameplay choose Ride 2!

I'm a hardcore fan of racing games and a real life biker. I owned the previous game and I'v been playing this one for months now. What I like: - First player mode mechanics are much more engaging, since now you have to earn medals to unblock other events in different categories. - There is much more content for single player, Including special international events and championships. So there is a lot more incentive to play for many hours. - Crashes look cool at last! They look realistic and really cool for the first time ever! - Loading times have really improved. - Bikes look cool (still not brilliant, could improve a lot for a ps4 game) and handling is brilliant. - The rider animations and physics are the best in a bikes game so far. It's incredible how cool it feels. If you are morbike fan you will love it. I own one of the Ducatis you can pick in this game and I love it! What I dont like: - The AI is very annoying. This is the worse issue in this game for me. They smack into you constantly when arriving to tight corners and force you to replay over and over. - In the main UI for the game, the small map indicator where you can preview corners, is pretty bad. It needs to be positioned somewhere else and it needs to be zoomed out cos I can never see the corners coming up. I have to end up memorizing the tracks. - Some powerful bikes, like the panigale 1299, are extremely sensitive to wheelies. Even with antiwheelie to the max, its almost imposible to accelerate in 1st and 2nd gear. It's a bit too much and ends up being quite fustrating in my opinion. - Customizing the bike is something really cool, but by now its got a bit dated, it would be cool if you had options to more expensive and efective performance pieces. I'm sure it would improve the core gamepay and improve incentives to complete races.

This game is gorgeous. Awesome. Gran Turismo for motorbikes, except this looks much better. When you are watching a video of the race you just finished, it actually looks better than Milestone's promo pictures! Virtual bikes have never been this glorious before. Even Valentino Rossi the Game, Milestones jewel, an official Moto GP simulator, cannot beat Ride 2. Many may not agree, but I like the spirit of Ride 2 more. The game has enough difficulty options, everyone can learn to ride it. Physics feel believable enough. For me it was a little bit more difficult than virtual car racing in the beginning, took about an hour to learn basic driving in easy mode, but you will propably be faster, I'm an old fart. If you love bikes, you will love Ride 2. Gorgeous vehicles, awesome road sceneries, true to life race tracks. Ride 1 was somewhat unfinished, the sequel is finished and polished **** A1 game. Riding feels fast and furious. Of course when you sit staring at a monitor... it can't be anything like riding a bike physically, oh why I wrote that boring no-brainer. But when you are doomed inside, there's -15 celsius outside, and the summer is just a far-off dream, Ride 2 can save your mental health. I recommend this game.

For motorcycle enthousiasts, there is not much to complain about ride 2. It might not be the most beautiful game and the presentation could be a bit more spectacular. But when it comes down to riding, bike and track selection, this is just pure fun. To me, the most important improvement over its predecessor are the greatly improved load times. For all car arcade racers: It is a motorcycle game and a semi-simulation. Don't expect to go around corners like in ridge racer or you will be disappointed.
