Parascientific Escape - Gear Detective is a visual novel that offers a well written plot with interesting puzzles and characters and thanks to its price, it becomes a recommended experience not only for fans of its style but also for those who never played a visual novel before. While its audiovisual component could benefit from displaying higher production values, the overall gameplay and involvement with the plot make this a game that deserves its fair share of attention.
