Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy! HD, makes all the necessary improvements a freeware title from 2007 would need, and is served at a price that's almost nonexistent. It's funny, it has a relaxing pace, and, as a whole, it's perfect for a few hours of old-school, point-and-click fun.

Short, but funny and enjoyable, Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy! HD is the perfect "shot" of a point-n-click adventure.

A humorously pleasant point-and-click experience through and through, complete with a host of charming characters and fun puzzles. Though it is a little on the short side, it’s well worth the price and definitely worth checking out if you want to take a break from the serious side of gaming and spend a few hours with a light-hearted pirate adventure instead.

With a high-res graphical overhaul and all-new voice-overs, Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy! HD is an amusing pirate-themed romp filled with memorable characters, puzzles and puns, all at a manageable challenge level that any fan of point-and-click adventures, new or returning, can enjoy.

Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy! HD proves that charm does not age, but some of the gameplay mechanics in this point-and-click adventure are a little long in the tooth. Those that can overcome this facet will have a great time on this swashbuckling adventure.
