While the driving action isn't quite as satisfying as the superb "Burnout 3," it's still strong enough to keep you playing through the 150 or so races.

If you don't mind searching the city for action, Need for Speed Underground 2 gives you a chance to become the best street racer out there.

Everything from the first game has been done better, cleaner and with more emphasis, but the free-roaming city is a double-edged sword, offering a sprawling metropolis to navigate, but a bit too much travelling in some spots.

Dont get me wrong, this is one of my favorite games from my **** the insane amount of races and the bad sense of progress in this game is savage. The grinding feels terrible. And gets you bored after few races, specially U.R.L ones. 5/10

Salah satu series need for speed terbaik juga, dimana modifikasi mobil yang lebih seru dan beragam, terus dengan dunia malam nya, menjadikan nya salah satu yang terbaik

Didn't like it even back then. Both UG games are tedious and just boring. Back then as well, we thought the super riced out stuff was extremely cringe and ugly. Which if you do a little digging, you will find out the body kits / aftermarket body parts were made by a team from the Philippines who had zero knowledge of Car Culture.

An outstanding sequel in all aspects. It offers a lot of new and fun features, yet the game doesn't move away from the core gameplay that made the first Underground so popular, which is pure adrenaline street racing.

Its immense thrills and spills through the open-ended city of Bayview is exhilarating, and the culture that is emerging is created in the game to great effect.

A childhood favorite; I spent hours crushing the campaign in probably two sittings. I was absolutely addicted to the fun and customization of this game. Upgrading the car in the garage for hours, tweaking all the minute details was pure joy. Who can forget using NOS? A forever classic

Electronic Arts really has turned the Need For Speed series into something very special. The series was starting to get old with rehash after rehash, now each Underground title seems to get better and better with every release.

Just about everything in this game is better, except for the cumbersome overworld. If you can overlook this one shortcoming, there is a lot to like in Underground 2, I just had a hard time getting over this one, rather large, hurdle. [Dec 2004, p.162]

Not a realistic racer, the details of physics aren’t there, and some of the reactions the car makes are not accurate to say the least. But we don’t think that matters, NFSU2 is a great, loveable game which, taken at face value – a fun-filled racing game – is great fun and enjoyable to play and progress through, if you’re in Career Mode.

Not as much much fun as EA's other recent speed merchant "Burnout 3," but if getting under the hood to tinker with motors is your thing, this could be the one for you.

This is the first videogame I've ever played, it's the reason why I started playing videogames, and for its time it was an amazing game, but unfortunately it didn't age very well. I feel like I'm giving this game a lower score than what it normally deserves but it's because it's not as good as it used to be, however it's still is a pretty good game. One thing that was ahead of its time was the car customization for sure, you can pretty much customize everything. Lastly, the music was great, Riders on the Storm is a very iconic videogame song and it was always a pleasure to listen to it every time I booted up the game. Final Rating: "Good" ~ 7/10.

The game is complete garbage compared to part 1. It's simply overloaded with dubious upgrades and **** game conventions. It would seem that **** lasts a very long time then it is good, but not in this case. It is artificially stretched. Professional racing is annoying. They are long and should not be in a street racing game

When I was 5, my older cousin gave me this game, he said'' you will love this game". I said, "okay". I boot up my ps2, and after hours of car racing, I was in love with this game. the music is so nostalgia, I remember spending hours customizing my cars. this is a nostalgia trip.
