MySims – Kingdom is a nice adventure for the younger generation, which is also able to impress experienced gamers.

MySims Kingdom is all about the experience and it takes you on a charming journey where you get to meet and greet some brilliant characters. Yet, as an adventure, MySims is now in the company of the best that Wii has to offer and it just can't live with the likes of Galaxy and Twilight Princess. Still, provided you have some heart, this Kingdom packs more than enough personality to make it well worth a visit.

While Kingdom retains the cute, colorful visual design and many non-playable characters from its predecessor, the new game's experience is altogether different: there's a journey to take, varied objectives, more social interaction and Incredible Machine-like puzzle solving.

There was plenty here to explore and build, and while the story might have been on the forgettable side, I really enjoyed the focused Sim-style gameplay.

A totally cute and adorable playground, this time with more story and less making. [Dec 2008, p.69]

A simpler, more focused MySims experience. Shorter than the original but much nicer to look at, well written and quite funny at times. Who needs the real world? [Christmas 2008, p.50]

The "cute" graphics and sound may be overkill (especially once you hear the "Sim-speak" gibberish), but kids and fans of the original game will heartily accept this quest.

A great game! We’re having a blast with it. It looks good, and plays great. There are a few things I would like added or changed, mainly to have a more zoomed out camera view, and to have more things to do that involve creativity like painting, drawing or designing. However, these are mostly minor quibbles.

Featuring humour and a lovely visual style, it leaves the bad and tedious parts of the original MySims behind.

Other than that, this is a must-own for Wii devotees and Sims fans alike. [Dec 2008, p.100]
