What can I say, except this is a must play classic. This is probably my favorite game in the entire series, and favorite game of ALL TIME, so get out there, get a a PS2 and play this game! That’s an order, snake!

Creo que "Metal gear solid 3" es la obra maestra de Kojima de los mejores juegos de la play2 tiene un gameplay que fomenta la creatividad con muchas formas de pasar momentos importantes de la historia y hablando de esta es muy buena y cumple además que los personajes rompen la cuarta pared en diálogos pero si debo señalar cosas malas es que pasas un buen tiempo en un menú que no es malo en sí pero es mucho tiempo casi un 15% de gameplay y lo otro es que si te descubren o en partes de tiroteos no es tan bueno esfuncional pero no termina de convencerme pero creo que te incita a ser sigiloso 10/10

La narrativa emerge del uso del cuerpo y del espacio, no de la sobre explicación. Incluso sus excesos están al servicio del juego. MGS3 no necesita justificar su ambición: funciona. Es el Metal Gear donde Kojima deja de imitar otros medios y, por una vez, entiende de verdad el suyo. Un juego inteligente y bien estructurado, plagado de mecanismos internos que sostienen su grandilocuencia (The End, la gestión de la comida, la cura de heridas). Aun así, esa misma falta de humildad se traduce también en un videojuego profundamente risible (The Boss, Volgin, la economía militarizada del cuerpo), con una visión hipertrofiada de aspectos como la masculinidad frágil o el conflicto mundial. MGS: Snake Eater funciona especialmente bien en una lectura adolescente, donde su aproximación simplificada a la geopolítica aún no chirría. Con el tiempo, resulta evidente lo banal que es su perspectiva. En resumen: el juego funciona a pesar de Kojima, no gracias a él. Y, como juego, tiene sus elementos sistémicos profundos.

Genuinely a masterpice from Hideo Kojima. The jungle atmoshpere, the soundtrack, the game design ,lore , and gameplay are yet to be rivaled by ANY other game i have played.

NO SPOILER One of the best narrative storys, one that any player can understand if pays attention. The gameplay feels so good. Best videogame finale that can make you feel diferent emotions. On my opinion, is better play it after MGS 1 and 2, but is not fully required, been simpler than other MGS. There are so many details that its almost impossible know all. This game prove the real limits of Playstation 2. Between the original and Delta (Remake) i prefer this one. A low point it could be some bosses that feels a litle easier than MGS 1 & 2 bosses, like Fear or the Sorrow. This game have so many "secundary" o "secret" cinematics that makes you feel that its a videogame to explore and give it time. Its the best videogame i ever played for now. A game that makes you understand ideologies, politics, people, countrys. I cried in the last cinematic. No game its perfect, but this one deserve 9.8/10🫡

Sehr geniales Spiel für seine Zeit und auch für die jetzige Zeit. Ich würde jeden jedoch empfehlen das Remake zu spielen, da die Steuerung veraltet ist. Kojima ist ein Meister-Schopfer von Videospielen und Story-Telling, dies hat er mit diesem Spiel mal wieder unter Beweis gestellt. Super zu Empfehlen für jeden der gute, tiefgründige Stories mag und gut mit alten PS2 Gamemechaniken klar kommt. Meisterwerk und Klassiker!

Still the best version of the game. Make sure to play this game before even touched the censored remake. Game still looks great today and why replaying these games is so seamless. Controls could be better but honestly not much of an issue.

Metal Gear Solid 3 is a strong contender for the best game in the series. After the uneven, but mostly enjoyable MGS2, MGS3 takes things in a radically new direction, set in the Cold War era with a new jungle setting. MGS3 tells a sweeping narrative centered on blind loyalty to ones country or government, but unlike MGS2, keeps the gameplay front and center at all times. And in typical Kojima fashion, MGS3 finds really clever ways to utilize its game design, and features some of the best bosses in the series.

The game is a masterpiece and still holds up surprisingly well and is arguably the best of the original MGS games. Still holds up today and loads of fun to still play. The game still has a great story and awesome voice acting that still holds up even today.

I never grew up with these consoles, in fact my first console was the PlayStation 3 however I got tired of buying subscriptions so I got a ps2 and a couple games. This game is amazing and feels strange that this was even able to run on the Ps2 because it looks so good. The only complaint I have is that some areas get tough if you don't know what to do but you can always watch a quick video.

I was late. I found this treasure Metal Gear series in 2025. The whole series story seems completed. to better understand who is who, Follow the time line, Snake Eater should be the first game to play. New Player like it or not depends on snake eater, either quit or play entire series. Mistakenly play wrong one will be in the middle of mist. Metal Gear meanly is about amateur military content, Secondary is comedy. Thankfully Late series finally have Military supervisor. It may look silly, but with excellent humor sense. Such like a big Soldier guy Sitting inside the paper box was spotted like the abandoned cat. That's cute. And the Mountain Cat, They laugh make me laugh is very impressive one. also Normal enemy soldiers are friendly and kind. A good reason To catch and bring them home in Peace Walker. In video game, Japanese is first worldwide language, not english. Cost a lot money to collect metal gear series in different Platform. It is challenge for me to understand story without japanese or chinese. I know the concern. おそらくタランティーノがゲーマーだったら完璧なゲームといっているであろう。前作がメタ的な物語だったのに対して、ゲーム内物語がゲーム内のみでほぼ完結する作りになっていて、作り手としての成熟を感じる。個人的には2のギラギラとしたゲームプレイが大好きなのでちょっと気になるところではあるが、すべての要素が高い点数をたたき出している。

The best game series bar none. Metal Gear is head and shoulders above everything before it and after it. No other stealth game is better than it. FACT.

"Snake Eater" is arguably the best game in the series. This prequel set in 1964 is a survival stealth game that has bothersome flaws. One is the exposition dumps. The game takes a while to start due to several cutscenes explaining the plot. Also, the camouflage system can slow the action down. And the over-the-head camera perspective isn't very good. In fact, Kojima fixed it for the "Subsistence" re-release. I would also say that the radio conversations run way too long. All that being said, MGS 3 is an epic action game with an intriguing plot and plenty of secrets. The boss battles are also pretty memorable. Overall, I would rate this with a 9.3 out of 10.
