Messiah
SummaryMessiah is relatively short, and the memorable set pieces are interrupted by too many uninspired jumping puzzles.

Exhilaratingly fun, with a few bugs I had VERY good fun playing this game back when it was released. I finished it multiple times, including on max difficulty. The dystopian atmosphere and the level design were really captivating, and the gameplay opened some pretty creative and fun opportunities,"Let's see, before gliding to that lower level, should I play nice guy and ditch this cop here and risk him seeing me and shooting me? Or should I be a cold-hearted son of a bitsch and keep the cop, jump down and break his legs, and then abandon him as he crawls around in agony, unable to shoot at me?". This is the kind of fun I fondly remember Messiah for. Add highly individualized characters and weapons with unique abilities, and you can see what a rewarding playground this can be. Some characters can handle radioactive materials, others can conceal weapons, while the ****... can be pretty useful. The attention to detail also contributes to make this world feel alive, as well as the very competent AI. Your enemies can outflank you and duck for cover, making battles intense and exhilaratingly fun. On the bad side, the game was buggy on release, crashing regularly. The platforming could have its sour moments once in a while, and the grand battle at the end was hellishly frustrating.

Messiaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! Screamed the Fear Factory, and that's about the main thing that stood out for me. I remember looking forward to this titles, the cute little angel and amazing gameplay concept of capturing the control of your enemies, but it always seemed somehow unfinished and it never turned into the heart thing for me. 7/10

This game had it's potential for it is unique art style and mechanics. however, due to a lot of bugs, a sense of rushed features (including the dialogue), poor sound quality, the whole experience is pretty much ruined. Could have been a great game, but it isn't.
