Trash! And we waited 2 years for the trash of ps4 avengers! Do not waste money on this scam. A scam as they said the game would get more content but a year later and barely anything...they gave up lol Real sad as could have been amazing but its all about fluff and loot boxes. Many will try on Quest 2 via link but really dont. This game is why DIGITAL IS EVIL. 2 years ago it was 30....2 years later it is STILL 30! AND they never improved it but ...so that money was not used. If this was a physical game then after 6 months because it wasnt improved it be 20 and by now 10 and 10 be fair! but nope they have to scam us for every penny. Dev made mobile games before this so yeah that figures. Another waste of an amazing license . It does have MP but no one plays it now and it looks good for 2018 VR and sounds ok. Not much more to day but its repetitive and basic and loot box heavy. So sick of Disney scams. 6/10 but 4 for lying on launch and keep price high.

Pretty fun Arcade style game. 18 characters all with unique powers; and in VR it's a lot of fun. It's a Co-op Brawler. However, there's about 8 maps, but the objective is the same for each. Could have been a better launch by Sanzaru with more game modes and varying playstyle, but they've already stated and confirmed they're working on updates and free DLCs; so hopefully the repetitiveness will be addressed with a simple update.

Marvel Powers United (MPU) has a lot of great things going for it! First of all, there are 18 heroes to choose from and instead of just getting their hands in VR you get their whole bodies. The first time I tried the Hulk I was shocked at my size compared to the other players in my group. I actually laughed out loud as I realized that he truly is a pretty big guy compared to the other characters. Second of all, although some of the heroes may play the same it does help with learning the game and keep in mind that many of them have similar powers. For example: Rocket and Star Lord both shoot guns and can hover, while Wolverine and Black Panther have claws and melee attacks. And yet, even if they may play the same there is something truly incredible about being able to become your favorite Marvel Super Hero. And finally, although people complain about the missions being repetitive, because you basically do the same things each time in different maps, I would like to point out that most multiplayer games do the same thing if you consider Death Match, Team death match, Capture the Flag, Battle Royale etc.....What makes MPU unique is that you get to work together with other players and it does a great job of making you feel like you are actually a team of Super Heroes trying to save the day! Even if you play the same map, with the same objectives, it can be a whole different experience depending on the people you play with! In conclusion, the game is extremely fun to play, the graphics are great, there is a ton of content to unlock, and I have heard that future DLC is going to be free. If you enjoy comics and have always dreamed of becoming your favorite superhero, I highly recommend you check this awesome game out!

What a massive disappointment. My buddy and I are both huge Marvel fans and had pre-ordered the game. The intro to the game has you start as Cap and introduces you to his moves. You travel through the city and are introduced to a handful of characters. There are some very cinematic moments, and it really felt like they had hit it out of the park. Then you start the actual game. You and three other people (or bots) pick your hero, then you each select which stage you want to play, or select random. It spins around like wheel of fortune until it lands on a player and that stage is selected. Every stage looks different, but they are all basically the same. A few different types of minions spawn and you basically button mash until they are all dead. There are random boss encounters that are also repetitive. Nothing about any of the minions or bosses are challenging. You quickly find out the most effective move for your character (and they are the same for every enemy including bosses) and spam it until everything is dead. The game looks fantastic, and it is fun to play as your favorite Marvel characters once. This is not a game to spend $40 dollars on though. I probably wouldn't spend more than $10 and only play it occasionally when new content comes out. Biggest entertainment disappointment so far in 2018.

Amazing VR game.. Picked it up last week and played most of the objectives. Like any Marvel release, this is a super polished game and it runs all nice and smooth on my machine. The amount of content and quality is amazing for this price. I mostly play as Crystal, DrStrange and Iceman.. but all characters have unique attacks and combos. Playing multiplayer and help grinding is the best.. Best game ever so far on Rift. 10/10 :D
