Lone Echo is therefore the killer application for Oculus Rift that many were waiting for, as well as one of the few truly Triple A products for Virtual Reality currently available on the market.

Simply put, Lone Echo is the best VR game ever released. An immersive experience with fantastic mechanics, and well-written that makes us almost forget we're in a video game. Brilliant!

Absolutely amazing game! Any fan of hard sci-fi should check it out. The story is great, graphics still hold up in 2025, and it’s not one of those “vr experiences”, it’s a proper game.

This game is incredible. It's one of the titles worth getting a VR for. It's not perfect but it's excellent.

Ready at Dawn has created an experience that every Oculus Touch owner needs in their library, with the only negative point to the whole experience being that it ends.

In this sci-fi adventure you feel like you are really working in some advanced space station. You float around, enjoying the amazing acting and the unique way of moving around in an impressive environment.

It’s difficult to convey Lone Echo’s level of immersion in words. It’s something you have to try for yourself. The game gets so many things right, from the player’s relationship with Captain Rhodes to the interactivity with the environment, that I’m willing to overlook its disappointing finale. For the first time ever, I truly felt like I was in space, an experience only made possible with the power of virtual reality. And for that, I can’t recommend Lone Echo enough.

Lone Echo is an incredible leap forward for VR via its ability to capture both zero gravity and space environments. It does have its fair share of interaction and progression bugs, but not enough to significantly detract from something truly special. Those prone to motion sickness, ease into it.

Lone Echo is a landmark achievement in three key areas of the VR experience: locomotion, UI, and interaction. The winning blend of intuitive movement, discovery-based gameplay and character-driven storytelling create a compelling sense of presence that few VR games could hope to match, while the considered pacing gives it a fresh identity. I hate to mark it down on such a trivial aspect as length, but the package simply feels incomplete, rounding off in the second act and depriving you of both the narrative and mechanical evolutions I was expecting to encounter in the third. If there’s a silver lining, it’s that I expect its sequel to be one of VR’s very best.

It is my first real VR game and it is hard to believe that it was released so long ago. Sci-fi setup and story is really great, movement works like charm with me. Never got sick while playing. Game is a bit short, but unneccessery extra task requires some time to complete. Graphics is nice, mechanics works nice. And you have a whole body (no floating hands, Alyx, right?)

I played the game on quest 2 though oculus link and I enjoyed it. It was cool being able to float in space and doing through vr was impressive. It was a little slow at times but I enjoyed the story.

This game is your typical tried and true space genre game and adds nothing new to the genre. Unfortunately, this game still has a few bugs. On top of that, the game is way too short. It's sad to say that It's definitely not worth the price.

Oculus studios. Not Indie. AAA development. Not multilanguage. Not even subtitles. 570 million Spanish speakers. Maybe the game is good but we can't enjoy it. Oculus all your funded titles should be translated. We want VR to spread. Spend your money wisely.
