Even though the game itself is good, the story is very boring. We're always collecting marbles to unlock new characters, which is illogical and absurd. Despite being a children's game, some parts are nonsensical, boring, and difficult. I tried it because it was in Turkish, and I didn't like it. The heck is up with that Southern-belle sackgirl with the hamburger for a head? What were they smoking?! This game was developed by a different studio from the first two, and unfortunately the team seems to have misunderstood the assignment, thinking LBP was a series for tiny babies and not all-ages. I guess it was pretty hard to follow up on the epic that was LBP 2, but this game comes off as more creatively dry: with far fewer characters than the previous title, many of whom have pretty unappealing designs (like that hamburger-headed sackgirl), and all of whom, while fully voiced, have borderline cringe-inducing lines that fall into that category of especially juvenile children's game where they're inappropriately trying to be nice to you all the time (eg. whenever you pick up a powerup, they always make some insufferable comment like "with this jetpack, you can be totally cool!", and when you do a task, they always say "wow, you looked super cool when you did that thing!). None of the wit or self-confidence is present from LBP 2. As for the gameplay, it's perfectly fine. There's plenty of new creation tools that have been added, and there are now 16 layers to play with instead of just 3 like in previous games. That being said, this one really doesn't add any major fundamental changes that feel like as huge a leap forward as LBP 2 was, and really doesn't handle all those extra layers very well at all honestly. The story mode level design is as solid as ever, but the new playable characters still aren't nearly as groundbreaking as the creators likely thought they would be (giving off the same energy as Concord a little bit).

yeah i can actually see what the hate train was about with this game,it was an absolutely rough and buggy mess at launch, but there was still reminants **** game in there, and with the patches its starting to show through, if we ever needed an LBP4 its now

The third part of the series is not as varied and funny as the second. But you can still play together and have fun.

One of the best games I’ve ever played whith puzzle solving, platforming,boss fights and great plot to be expected in levels, Amazing for its time

The game is alright, the story's plot is pretty cool, the create mode, I say, is a bit too much, and the loading? Competes probably against Sonic '06. It's alright, and the servers are up, so that's the greatest thing about it, still fun though.

I grew up with this game and i absolutely love it still to this day

While the internal creator is surprisingly well-designed and fun, the same can unfortunately not be said for the main campaign. The visuals are often great with many creative locations (especially within the DLC campaign The Journey Home), yet every aspect of the gameplay suffers. Collectibles feel cheap and don't create any motivation to explore entire levels while the new mechanics and tools sprinkled throughout do little to make the experience any more enjoyable. The 2.5D platforming is often janky and annoying, and while the new characters are fun additions to gameplay, they are comedically underused. A lacking title as a first-party PlayStation exclusive.

I loved LBP 1. 2 was great too. This game os too simple, not Very Explored and not creative, not Fun as LBP 1 that the maps were Very richer

Its really a shame how the series dropped, I felt the story was really odd for this one and it had a really weird mission system with not nearly enough unlockables and tried to focus on that with paid ones. Its still more lbp so you can't be disappointing but it just didn't have the charm of the first one

(8/10) - Another great game in the trilogy. The things holding it back are the story mode and the spotty online servers.

The story is charming and simple, the game play is good as well. Little big planet 3 is a 2.5d platformer based off the players imagination. Being made by sumo digital instead of media molecule is very saddening and the game is worse for it, but despite its many many flaws it is a great game and I would recommend it even if its more of a kids game

This is a great platform game I liked it a lot. This is my second Little Big Planet game and my favorite one. The added characters are a great addition to the franchise and to play as. However, the only issue for me was the last levels where you have to replay from the start after you failed many attempts. Taking that aside is a great game.

It's a serious damn shame what happened to this franchise. LBP 3 introduces new sacks to play with, but they don't offer the versatile gameplay that was promised.

Another memorable and beautiful instalment into a wonderful, awe-inducing franchise. It's just comforting and kind and feels like ebbing wrapped up in a big warm hug!

The only reason this game isn´t a 5 is because i played it with my sister so it was a certain emotional value.

It feels much less innovative and creative. However, it's still an enjoyable experience.

The game is fun to **** characters are very **** Campaign is short but interesting to play.I didn't play the community levels, because the servers are down by this **** only downside i have is the last levels of the campaign they can be very frustrating and hard.

This game went above my expectations. The characters are really charming and the platforming is great ! I'm impressed by the overall quality of the game even though it's quite short...There is a difficulty spike at the end but it remains forgiving. I'm looking forward for the Sackboy game on PS5 now :)

LittleBigPlanet 3 is good game, but the story is pretty lackluster and it was incredibly buggy at launch to the point where the game was almost unplayable. Thankfully, most of them were patched later on, though it still doesn't change the fact that Sony rushed LBP3.

The plaforming is fun but with the current servers down is really annoying to me how I recommend playing this when the servers are back up

While LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet PSP and LittleBigPlanet for PSVita were awesome games (and I'm not gonna talk about the disaster called LittleBigPlanet Karting), LittleBigPlanet 3 isn't really a good game. Sure, you can't deny level created by the community are great, as well as the level editor, but the solo campaign is very boring. LBP and LBP2's were awesome, but not LBP3's...

наконец-то достойная часть, в которую интересно играть даже соло. Если вы долго думали стоит ли пробовать. То однозначно начинать надо с этой части.

Little big planet 3, honestamente.... es muy inferior a los anteriores. La campaña se hizo mucho mas corta, y los niveles no son tan interesantes como antes, ademas de tener muchos bugs y glitches, incluso mas que en las anteriores entregas. Ademas de que en el modo creativo algo que en lo personal no me gusto es no poder cambiar el numero de capas, estando limitado siempre a las capas multiples en vez de las 3 que tenias en los juegos anteriores. Esto por desgracia rompe por completo los niveles de la comunidad hechos en el primer y segundo juego. Aun asi algunas de sus ideas no estuvieron para nada mal, y en general me gusto, pero no es un juego excelente como los anteriores.

This game had the potential to be so much more. 2 was amazing and is one of my all-time favorite games. I was so excited for this game when it came out, and have it on ps3 and ps4. and let me tell you, this game was so bad and glitchy, that to this very day, on both ps3 and ps4 editions of the game for me are very glitchy and near unplayable at times. My account was corrupted TWICE and had to delete all my levels. LBP2 was glitchy at times, but nowhere close to the pile of absolute TRASH this game is. This is just another case of a very powerful and potentially industry-shaping game getting neglected and forgotten by its devs.

WAY too buggy. If this game wasn't rushed out the door, this might be the best LBP. It's kinda sad.

This is the only game i miss from my PS4, everything else was boring but for some odd reason this was the most refreshing game I had played back when I had my PS4. Story mode was whatever, I did like the atmosphere tho. The creator was awesome and had a cozy feel to it and the community maps were great, however keep In mind that i have never played a LBP game before so this was all new to me but from what i saw all the maps were mostly from LBP2 so that game is the one to praise.

This game's story is okay, but the level design in it is great, especially when playing as Oddsock, Toggle, or Swoop. There are a couple of very noticeable bugs that haven't been fixed, such as profile corruptions, random online disconnects, crashing after using the home menu on PS4 while in an online game, pod window distortion when transforming into other characters, and soft locking, but the game is still rather enjoyable thanks to what good things it has to offer. Online multiplayer is more enjoyable with experience with the franchise, and as long as all players have a great internet connection. However, not being able to join someone requires closing the application, and opening it again (for PS4 users). PS3 and PS5 users don't have this issue, so they're fine not having that issue. Unfortunately, cross-platform play is not added in the game, so PS3, PS4, and PS5 users can't play with each other online. The community levels are all over the place when it comes to how good they are to play. Most Team Picked levels may be enjoyable for certain players, but most of them have level design issues, and falling out of bounds. Others like hangout levels, scenery, films, etc. are more enjoyable to experience. There is some cringe, but I suggest not going to those levels if they're really not your type. Trying to create good levels is something to get interested in, but it takes a lot of trying to get used to the tools of the game. While I don't like these said issues, they take time to get used to. If LittleBigPlanet 3 really isn't your cup of tea, you can try the other titles, Dreams, or advanced creating software on PC. By the way, this game is pretty fun to mod or use modded tools if you're into that, but having experience of the game, and knowing links to LittleBigPlanet Discord servers is required. Overall, this may not be something to keep a grasp on for the average player if they're not that experienced with the franchise, so attempting to master the previous titles is recommended. I feel like things like this should definitely be more noticed by many other players looking into the game, so my real rating for this game would be 4/5 stars because of the enjoyable parts. It's okay to have your own opinions as long as you have good reasons to feel a certain way about something, and that you can properly criticize something with much experience with the topic.

Not as good as MediaMolecule's previous games. The final level in the story mode is incredibly frustrating and not designed with multiplayer in mind at all.

A funny game with some uncomfortable bugs. It's fun to play with someone else, but there are certain bugs that it's intolerable that they're still here after all the time that has passed since launch.

Me ha gustado, a diferencia de los otros anteriores, este he notado la campaña bastante más corta y las innovaciones que tiene este juego son los artilugios y los 3 personajes nuevos, lo demás es lo de siempre pero es muy entretenido y divertido y con amigos es mucho mejor.
