There’s a real satisfying feeling of the game getting more complex the further you get.

Karateka Classic is a port of a classic fighting game that holds up rather well today.

Karateka Classic has the same problems that all vintage games have, but it's a faithful port and its deep gameplay may just surprise you.

Side scrolling action game is always in demand, and the game keep improving as it goes on is outstanding.

Although the "new" Karateka was well done, nothing beats the original. This game is perfect. The port is as accurate as you could ever get on a touchscreen. It's slightly easier since you can save your game and thus, the falling get is a bit less scary, but still terrifying enough. Glad they chose the Apple ][e version which was way superior to the other ports (aka the PC version) at the time.

Karateka Classic is a superb port of an excellent (if ancient) fighting game, and is a great way to rekindle old memories or to simply see what all the fuss is about.
