Indika isn’t a game you will enjoy playing, but you should do it anyway. Whether you agree with it or not, it will ask you to question the status quo, who has the right to judge others or decide right from wrong. Video games can be a form of escapism, a power fantasy, or mindless fun. Indika isn’t that. It’s something you won’t understand right away. It’s one you’ll want to discuss with others after you finish. It’s one that could change your worldview.
Indika is a short but powerful experience full of symbolism and philosophical quest(ion)s without being over-exhaustive.
Indika is an unconventional walking simulator that stands out for its unique approach and atmospheric storytelling. The game offers a thought-provoking journey through a richly detailed world, but its slow pace and abstract narrative might not appeal to everyone. It’s a distinctive experience that challenges traditional gameplay norms, making it a compelling choice for those looking for something different in the genre.

An excellent story game would love to see more like this. Great game all around besides being too short, the dialogue is wonderful, really showcases how flawed most people's beliefs & lives are. The graphics were beautiful. The puzzles were fantastic, sadly there wasn't many, but enough of them that I wouldn't call this a walking simulator. The flashbacks being told through old school pixel gameplay was an interesting unique choice I don't think any game has ever done before, but it kind of works in a weird way. More gameplay such as a longer story & more puzzles would've made this game perfect.

**Indika** is a small indie game, about 3 hours long, that delivers a truly unique experience and makes you think about questions you might never have considered—while still giving satisfying answers without overcomplicating things. The gameplay is split into two modes: a 2D pixelated segment reflecting the protagonist’s memories, and a third-person segment depicting the **** game has minor gameplay flaws, but it’s so charming that these small issues and bugs barely matter. It doesn’t take itself too seriously like the dark, complex worlds of *Alan Wake* or *Silent Hill*. Instead, it presents philosophical questions, gives you time to reflect, and ultimately provides answers, neatly closing the experience.I absolutely fell in love with this game. I think it will never leave my mind, and like other perfect 10/10 games, it will always hold a special place deep in my heart.

Odd Meter's Indika offers a unique, narrative-driven experience set in 19th-century Russia, focusing on a young nun's mission. Despite its lack of surprising gameplay, the game excels in story, atmosphere, and artistic execution, with impressive graphics and voice acting, though it could benefit from better optimization and more innovative mechanics.

Bleak realism meets absurdist fairytale in a stylish, surreal, and astonishingly surefooted - if mechanically unadventurous - exploration of faith, free will, and demonic temptation.

There are few games that have had the courage to tackle religious themes with such sensitivity, and Indika is certainly one of them. It is a peculiar title that may struggle to make itself known to the general public, but we believe that those who are lucky enough to try it will retain good memories of it. For better or for worse.

To put it bluntly, INDIKA is a pretentious nothing. A theatrical production with a poorly written idea tried to put it in the form of a game, which is severely lacking both story and gameplay.

An absolutely interesting story-driven puzzle game, with a dark setting and an engaging and shocking plot.

I didn't like it. It's just a talking simulator with bad optimization. The characters weren't any interesting I only liked the pixel minigames.

SummaryINDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in a strange world where religious visions clash with harsh reality. It tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual, horn-headed companion by her side. On the outside, Indika seems to be a typical nun attempting to adjust to a difficult ... Read More
