Indiecalypse is a look into the struggles of developing indie games, but in gaming form. The gameplay is simple for the most part, but the lack of clear instructions for minigames gets frustrating. The homage to various other games is neat, but that's about it gameplaywise. The art style is great and I'd love to see more games with characters and worlds like this.

He tells the story he wants to tell, very entertaining. The game consists entirely of minigames that intervene while telling the story. Obviously, bugs are many and annoying. Still, I had a lot of fun playing it. (Except for the Cupheads episode)

Bastante malo y bugeado por ahora no es recomendable al meno que lo parcheen algun dia

In a word: gross. The game is buggy, to the point of being unplayable in many places (especially the “Binding of Isaac” segment). Several of the “clever reference” mini games are just re-skins of each other, defeating the point. The advertised dark humor is completely absent, barring the vaguely sexual puns on par with a porn parody. The whole presentation is sloppy and mildly disturbing in a way that just makes the casual player feel uniquely bad
Boring and barely playable. Wished I was playing the games it references rather than this the whole time. 1 point for a random reference to American literature that I enjoyed.
