Homo Machina is a puzzle game with a real story that pays homage to the work of the German Doctor Fritz Kahn. In a simple and intuitive way, each puzzle will transport you to the heart of a factory inside a body, in an intelligent way and so realistic that one could almost believe that it is the reality... It's an excellent game of mechanical anatomy.

Homo Machina is yet the latest example of how even within some pretty narrow constraints in terms of setting and mechanics, it's possible to craft a pretty excellent world that is both amusing and rewarding. You might even learn something along the way, but kids, please don't use it as assistance for your upcoming biology test, because something tells me you're not going to pass it if you do.

Despite a few missteps, there's enough that Homo Machina gets right that you're going to love the time you spend with it.

Homo Machina is a charming and creative adventure game in almost every way, and it’s full of little surprises. The only one of these surprises that isn’t so great is that it all ends too soon. Still though, if you’re looking for something short, sweet, and fun, Homo Machina is hard to pass up.

Homo Machina is an original, compelling puzzle game inspired by the works of infographics pioneer Fritz Kahn. A fascinating journey through the human body.

The gentle sound effects and nicely judged art style create an unusual atmosphere and one that encourages quiet exploration. It’s a singular but short-lived experience, and unfortunately one that doesn’t afford much replayability. It’s also riddled with bugs that regularly force you to replay entire sections.
