Heroes Call
A curious title, with a good character development system, adjusted control and well designed for touchable screens. An interesting proposal for roleplaying fans, that is free to play, but to enjoy it at full you'll have to go through microtransactions.
There's enough content to keep players engaged, and the loot system works well in keeping you coming back to try and find a better piece of equipment.
Heroes Call isn't quite in the same class as Diablo, yet it manages to capture much of the same spirit in a freemium mobile package. That's a pretty impressive feat, and it should be enough to keep you hacking and slashing for a while.

Forget saying it's "good for a Freemium game," Heroes Call is just plain good. Better than good in some ways.

What could have been a fun Diablo-esque hack and slash game is dragged down by the freemium design model and unchanging combat.

Had Defiant Development created a more full-featured experience and sold it for $0.99-$4.99, we may have proclaimed it the dungeon crawler to beat all dungeon crawlers, at least on mobile. As it stands, this game's a missed opportunity, and we doubt it'll make it into our play list even a week from now.
