The gameplay is very easy to understand and by them doing this it means you don’t get bogged down by little details which means things stay fun for longer. I was very impressed with the campaign because it has a decent amount of depth to it and each level had a nice amount of variety present as well. While the game is pretty enjoyable when played on your own the gameplay shines its brightest when played with friends and it definitely worked well this way. Each game or level you play is very quick and I think this is the right move because it stops certain elements from being repetitive. The game suffers with a few technical issues every now and then and while none of them are major they can still be a little off-putting. There isn’t anything that really stands out in both the visuals and sound design and everything is really basic here. It would’ve been nice to have been able to obtain more perks and weapons along the way but sadly that never really happens. Hellfront: Honeymoon is one of them games that tries to mash up a few different genre’s together and place them into one experience and for the most part the game does this really well culminating in a fun and enjoyable experience. It isn’t perfect though so expect to experience a few shortcomings along the way but the core idea is very fun indeed so you do tend to forget about these issues in the end. This game then can be enjoyed both solo and with friends but if you want the most enjoyment out of the game then I recommend that you play the game with friends. There is a decent amount of content for you to play with friends as well and I must admit that I was impressed with how much variety there was in each of the game’s campaign levels. Unfortunately though there isn’t as much variety present in the weapons and perks available to you and this does impact on the enjoyability a little. There are also a few technichal issues you have to deal with as well but thankfully none of these are major and the quickness of each game means they don’t pose much of a problem at all. At the end of the day then if you’re looking for a fast-paced shooter that has action in a number of areas then you’ll definitely enjoy what Hellfront: Honeymoon has to offer and in the end it gets a thumbs up from me.
