Compared to the first game this is one step forward five steps back. The combat is faster and more fluid in some aspects but the enemy design is worse, the auto aim on your guns is worse, the lock on might be one of the worst in all of gaming, your shield is much weaker and takes way to long to recharge, and every combat encounter is over stuffed with annoying enemy's that its just a slog to get through.
