While Vice City Stories is just as important a chapter in the GTA saga as any, it's another re-tread of the ageing GTA3 game engine. The missions feel familiar and so do the driving and the save system - they're all remnants of a six-year-old game, after all. Upstart "Scarface" feels fresher...But this is top-drawer entertainment. The game is gritty and dull to a fault and it doesn't have the same sense of humor that made the past titles so entertaining. What humor there is tends to be painfully blunt - the first four hours are like one long un-funny redneck joke, for example.

Vice City Stories is topped off with killer ad-hoc multiplayer for up to six people, which lets you tear it up on foot or in cars, helicopters and boats across 10 different modes. While these matches tend to get choppy, they'll keep you playing long after you've finished the game's lengthy storyline - as will all the hidden nooks, unlockable vehicles and dozens of optional tasks scattered around the city.

An underestimated chapter of the 3D universe of GTA. Rockstar Leeds and Dan Houser's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories is leaved in the shadow because of the other masterpieces in the same era. Vic Vance's story is still one of the best stories of the PSP console.

So I finally completed the story of this game. Back when I had my PS2, I almost finished it, but I honestly forgot why I didn’t. Now I decided to finish it on the PSP version. I gotta say, this game has a lot of bugs, but not too many—maybe it’s mostly a PSP version issue.
From my experience, I actually love this game more than Vice City. I really like the idea of running and maintaining businesses—that’s what I enjoyed the most. I think this game is an upgrade from Vice City in that aspect, but the original Vice City still has a better story overall. As for the ending, it didn’t sit right with me. I wanted more. I wanted to see what happened to all the side characters. Some side characters are weird, and some are cool too like Phil Collins. He’s a really cool side character, and I didn’t even know a real person was in GTA before this. Reni is one of the weird ones, but his cutscenes always make me laugh because his dialogue is outrageous, and Vic’s responses make it even funnier.
And also i really like Vic as a protagonist. He never wanted to get into this **** and only did it to help his sick brother, but trouble always keeps finding him. And Lance… **** him. I hate his missions and I hate him as a character. Thank God he died in Vice City. It’s just sad that Vic is canonically dead too
But yeah, overall I adore this game so much. I think it’s the second-best GTA 3D-era game—the first is GTA San Andreas, no doubt. I had a blast playing it, even though some missions were bad and tedious. Still, I loved every moment of it.

Not only is this the greatest game on PSP, it also leaves a large percentage of the PS2 back catalogue looking ordinary. But it right now. [Dec 2006, p.76]

My Review – Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories – 10/10
I gave Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories a 10 out of 10 because it perfectly captures the style, chaos, and fun of Vice City while adding its own twists. The story is engaging, the characters are memorable, and the missions are varied and exciting.
The open world is lively and full of things to do, from side missions to building your criminal empire, and the soundtrack, atmosphere, and setting really make the city feel alive. The gameplay is smooth, action-packed, and incredibly satisfying, making it a standout in the series.
This is why GTA: Vice City Stories is a 10 out of 10.

Vice City Stories is an amazing game, and one I would wholeheartedly recommend, (a lot of work has gone into it, despite the fact that the city has undergone few changes from the original) but I hope that for the upcoming (if you can wait a year) "GTA IV" we see enough of a change to refresh the genre and franchise, because the games are great, but starting to seem quite samey.

While this particular GTA game wouldn't inspire me to sit in my bedroom at night trying to make animated squish graphics to put on the top of my website, it's still happily one of the best games on the PSP, and well worth looking into if you still haven't hit your GTA ceiling.

Es un muy buen gta, mejor de lo que pensaba, me gustaron mucho los personajes, la historia esta bien, las misiones son variadas y tiene muchas mecanicas divertidas que otros gta no tienen, la radio no me gusto mucho, la ciudad esta meh y en ciertos momentos no se encuentra ningun vehiculo en la calle, mal ahi.Esta bien como gta y para ser un juego de la psp, la pase bien a diferencia del gta 3.

Es un arreglo del Liberty City Stories ya que trae contenido del Vice City y del San Andreas Ahora se preguntaran ¿porque un 7? pues hay algunas misiones que son dificiles

Le jeux est beaucoup trop dur et tout simplement pas jouable sur psp déjà que les contrôles sont horribles la difficulté de chaque mission rend le jeux très nul et sans but l’histoire est également vide sans intérêt je vous le conseille vraiment pas vous allez perdre du temps de votre vie

Lo provato tramite l'emulatore e molto difficile da mirare anche usando un controller comandi fatti male veramente era meglio se lo facevano anche per il PC almeno li usciva meglio.
